The Goodnight Kiss was mentioned by a previous poster, but I want to submit my hands-down vote for it.
Here are the top five reasons why:
5. If you wait until the park is nearly closed, the area will be quiet - few people around.
4. The background music, emanating from speakers around the castle, is beautiful.
3. The message of the goodnight kiss - be safe until you return, and Disney's hope that your visit was magical - let's just say I get chicken skin thinking about it.
2. As you walk, arm in arm, out of the park, you will stroll down beautifully lit Main Street.
1. The castle - I mean, what can be more romantic than proposing in front of Cinderella's castle? It is beautifully lit, it has "happily ever after" symbolism, the fact it will always remind you of a special moment in your lives. Heck, you can even get a Castle Christmas ornament! I mean, the beach is nice and everything. But, have you ever tried to use sand on a Christmas tree? In a litter box, maybe, but not a Christmas tree.
But, I digress. Regardless of the place and time you choose, it will be special. Heck, I proposed to my wife while I lay on the couch, sick. Romantic, eh? But, I sure caught her off-guard!
Best wishes for you and your girlfriend. Make sure you take your honeymoon at WDW, and wear your bride and groom ears. Lots of cool perks come with them, from what I hear!
