Proposal suggestions for MK next month?

My son just informed me that he plans to propose when we visit MK next month. He wants to wait until the castle is lit up after dark. Anyone have any suggestions for him?

Getting out of the way if people you can head to the wishing well on the side of the castle, it'll be more private as well

I just heard the applause for a proposal as I exited the Castle the other night. Maybe have your photo taken by the photopass as your back is to the Castle and get down on your knee to propose for a great photo memory. Make sure Mom tells the photographer what to expect...and then go to the Photo Store inside by Tony’s on Main Street to get a professional print because they will insert it into a commemorative folder and might insert a surprise photo of Mickey & Minnie too! Hopefully they will have the holiday design for the folder! Be sure to ask.

This is a good idea but... ADR are limited now with Covid. December is a busy month people can start booking at 60 days with resort reservations. End of day reservations go fast. Hopefully OP’s son can get one- but just a reality check that it might be hard.

I’ve been trying repeatedly since I saw this suggestion, it’s been hard. The latest reservation I’ve seen so far is 3:50. I’ll keep trying though.

Do you have a touring plans subscription? They have a reservation finder which lots have had luck with. You put restaurant and time you want in ... if there is an opening it’ll let you know but you have to secure the reservation on Disney website. Others use it to so you have to be fast! I assume he knows that both of them will have to be wearing masks when he proposes, and they are not allowed to take the masks off for photos.

He does. Not ideal but we’ll make the best of it
