Did anyone read this proposal in the Notice of Annual Meeting booklet that came with your proxy?
I found it very interesting and am wondering on how you plan to vote on this proposal.
My instinct is to vote for the proposal, but the board is recommending to vote against it.

I voted against the proposal, for several reasons.

1) if 6704 people per year are injured in Theme Parks (ALL parks, not just Disney), that equates to 18 each and every day. Now, I'll bet Disney pobably has at least 2 injuries per day.

2)The states if Florida and California have divisions to which the parks must report major injuries

3)If, on average, for the sake of arguement, there are 700 injuries at Disney parks per year...imagine the costs involved in printing and distributing those reports to each and every stockholder, even those that own 1 share of stock for sentimental reasons.

4) Disney, overall, has an excellent safety record in its parks. Not to say that even 1 injury isn't too many...but to make each and every stockholder aware???

When you think of how many people go to all the parks every day, those numbers are not too staggering. I think they do a pretty good job of park safety.

Course, I'm always a little uneasy on Big Thunder Mountain, since the one in Disneyland jumped track.
