Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)

I have a - sometimes unruly - admiration for him. Even though I am Christian, I admire his self discipline and quest for world peace. I like to say "peace by upon him." Some of his so-called followers scare me though. I think Muhammed was supposed to be a messenger for God, and I don't think God is mean that he'd want to kill people. So I don't believe Osama and his buddies are really fighting for Islam. But, I think the prophet himself was an ultra cool guy. Yep, I love him! I love Jesus too!

Don't forget to read the old testament of the Bible. I seem to recall several instances of God telling the Israelites to go into a land and kill everybody. At least that is what they thought he was telling them. I find it hard to believe. There are wackos and extremists in every religion.

I'm wondering how far back we are allowed to go here. When the crusaders won the seize of the city of Acre the cut of the heads off 2700 Muslim prisoners,most of whom, were women and children. Or we could talk about a 10's of thousands of Jews that crusaders murdered just because they were Jews.

Just the fact that you are an American gives you the right to be as misguided as you chose. That's the great thing about freedom.

That was centuries ago. Jesus's message was quite different, was it not? Furthermore, the Christian churches have undergone major reformations.
