Proper etiquette for reuseable mug

I use my mug for water and the occasional soda. I use a disposable cup for my coffee. I bring my mug with me, so it is clear my coffee was paid for in advance. I cannot stand coffee flavored water. Not one Cm has had a problem with this, and IMO is is perfectly acceptable.

We usually eat breakfast at the food court on our way to the parks. I don't want to lug my mug with me all day, but also am too lazy (actually I"m trying to protect my poor tired feet!) to want to make a trip back to my room to put the mug away. From what I've been reading, might it be OK to get my coffee in a disposable cup so I can just drink and go, not have to take a mug back to the room? It seems if a CM had an issue, all they'd need to do is scan my band to see that I really have a dining plan, really have a mug, but it sounds as if they don't really care how much coffee anyone drinks.

I am currently staying at POFQ (leaving tomorrow morning), I have noticed all week others bringing the cups from their rooms and taking coffee.

It annoys me too, though I also just drink soda in the morning since I don't like the coffee in the food courts, and then just get a Starbucks in the parks, but I think I would just ask a CM for a coffee cup if I really needed a coffee and didn't want to use my mug. We also pack a small thing of dish soap and sponges so we can wash the mugs in our room, as I don't like not washing them for a week or more.

There is a reason they put the chips in the mugs for the soda. Imho it is not ok to not use your mug. But that's just me

I think anyone who willing drinks the coffee at the resorts' QS has a serious caffeine addiction.
