Proof of Time

Hi all

I was wondering if someone could tell me how I go about submitting my time for the WDW half marathon for corral placement? I ran my first half yesterday, and I don't know what info Disney needs for my placement. Do I print out the results from the website or do I have to get something more "official" from someone at the race? I need to send in for myself and FIL.

Veronica When Disney sends you your email to verify/confirm your registration, they will show your current status for proof of time. If it indicates that you need to submit it, then you can email them a copy of the results. You may even just be able to send a link to a results page online. I think I sent a pdf of a results page--maybe even a screen shot. Don't worry if you check back and the status is not immediately updated. It took quite a while (weeks) before mine was. They get so many that it swamps them!

Just in case that doesn't work, I'll tell you that it's very easy to change your corral at the expo on marathon weekend. All you need to do is bring a print-out of your proof of time to the Runner Relations booth (it will be set up near all the other booths where you pick up your bib and chip), and they'll check your time vs a master sheet to tell you which corral you can move up to. Usually, they'll just place a colored "sticky tab" over your corral letter on your bib with a hand-written corral letter.

Very easy to do. I've done it twice. Hope that helps!
