I'm sure it's been asked, but will we be asked for proof that our daughter is 2 at the gates?

We're going next week, one month before her 3rd Bday. She's very tall for her age and very verbal. We wanted to squeeze one last trip in while she's free.

Should we bring a copy of her birth certificate?

We had a similar situation when DD was 2. We were asked several times (mostly at meals- this is before they put your child's age on your ADRs). Everyone took us at our word though. However we always carry a small copy of her birth certificate with us.

We took my dd two months before she turned three. She was very tall for her age. The ticket takers at the gates looked closely (without being obvious or offensive) but did not say anything. Her face looked 2 1/2. We had her birth certificate in case.

As far as the buffets which are free for under 3, no one ever said anything, but my daughter usually drank a lot of chocolate milk and ate very little!

Take a birth certificate so that you will feel more comfortable just in case!

We took DS just after he turned 2 and I brought his birth certificate with. He didn't look anywhere near 3, but we thought it was a good idea to have it with anyways. Not a big deal to carry it with us, so I would just to be on the safe side.

My dd was 2 years, 11 months when we were there last year and not one person said a thing to us!

We didn't carry a birth certificate- it didn't even cross my mind. She wasn't 3!

i never have had any problems w/ the kiddos that were/are under 3 and I visit A LOT with little kids. Bringing a birth certificate is a great idea just in case! :thumbsup2 have fun!

We went when our DD was 2.

She's always been tall for her age so we brought a copy of her birth certificate in case we needed it. I felt better carrying it. She's 8 now and folks think she's 10 since she's so tall.

No one ever questioned her age so we didn't need it. :)

We just returned any my DD is one month away from three and she looks and acts older than her age and absolutely no one asked...I did carry her passport, but I just carried her through the turnstiles...no questions asked!

I would recommend taking the birth certificate just in case. Also, if you are flying, the airline might ask for proof of age, if you are taking the child as a lap child. Otherwise you might get stuck purchasing an airline ticket for the child.

When DD was 20 months we flew with her as a lap child. I did not bring her birth certificate, they just asked for her date of birth.

We go every year, and they have always taken us at our word on the kids' ages. Our oldest is very small for her age. When she was four, she was the size of a regular two year old :cutie: . It was our first time buying annual passes, so we had ones for me, dh, and dd (ds was only one). When we went through the gates every day, I had CM's asking me who the third pass was for! They all assumed that dd was under three. It was interesting to see that we paid $350 just to be honest :lmao: because no one would have asked for her ticket.
