I do not get it. Last night I went to the "red carpet" to watch the kids from my son's class go to prom. OMG I saw gowns that were beyond descripition. While I do not have a daughter I cannot in my wildest dreams see how parents can let their girls leave the house dressed with less clothing than a Las Vegas Showgirl (I am being kind, I cannot use the word I would like b/c they will ban me).
I saw this girl with a dress with just these straps going up over the bodice would make Jlo blush. Kind of like wide suspenders. Then there was this girl who looked as if she had not zipped her dress at the waist the rest of the dress was open. When I looked more closely it was a huge v and the top of her rear end was showing if you know what I mean. As she went up the carpet she pulled it lower!!
Some of them used glue and double stick tape to hold the dresses in place but some of them did not. Either way would you let you daughter of age 15-18 leave the house like this?? Really...forget about not buying the cow....these girls were exhibiting the whole dairy farm...if you get my drift.

It will be a cold, cold day in hell before a daughter of mine dresses that way unless she wants my DH to be her prom date.
