They didn't say. they ended the show with Edmund coming in and telling the other designers he was leaving but they didn't show Tim at the end at all. I think he stays.

I think so too. He was too strong all season to cut him now plus they generally have 4 going into the finale episode even if only 3 are judged by the end.

Honestly Edmund was a tad 'happy" for losing-that was the other part that bothered me-maybe filming different scenarios until they got it right??

Well, at this point, he should be happy. For all of the blahblahblah Heidi does about only the top three showing at Fashion Week, that's a lie. The designers at this point know that ALL of them are showing at Fashion Week. That's one thing I hate -- it's so disingenuous to pretend that they aren't showing. They are.

They know that they ARE showing at Fashion Week, just that their designs are not airing on the tv show. In today's world with all of the exposure available from the internet and the fact that the people who really matter for their careers are AT Fashion Week, it really doesn't matter if their collection is shown on at tv program. Sure, it would be nice to win the PR prize package, but long-term what affects their collection most right now is showing at FW. He gets to show at FW, so he's won already.

Even if you choose to not look at blog NOW-please do so AFTER finale because You will not see any of this on the show-but-Swapnil and merline's collections are shown & named on the Blog (Swapnil was amazing-I so hate he sort of "gave up ' at the end)

We all knew it! I even think Edmund knew it too. I'm sure he was in shock, but it was almost too blasé of a reaction -- like come on in Tim, I'm ready for the save.

Last nights episode was kind of surprising. The judges reaction to Candice's collection was more harsh than I expected. I think she was being Candice, not Alexander McQueen. It was over the top like McQueen, but I saw her in her designs. (And I'm not a huge Candice fan!)

No prints from Ashley? That's what she does best! And purple AGAIN! The headbands didn't bother me, but I agree with Heidi making some smaller may be a nice change. The fit was deplorable. And the bra showing was tacky. I'm excited for a plus size runway show for her though. It's nice to see something other than a size 00 strut the catwalk.

Kelly's was definitely her. Some of the pieces were cute but others just ehhh. The pants and sparkle top was boring. Agree with the judges -- if you're going that route go BIG.

Edmund, my favorite, really disappointed me. Maybe he works best under pressure, but not having pieces even started? Ugh! What have you been doing for 7 weeks? To me, it gave the impression he didn't care -- which I know he has to. Judges were correct, that ruffle dress wasn't him. he does sexy yet classy perfectly. That dress was ugly. The bow dress was really cute though. And I did giggle at his hiding his dresses. He loves to be mysterious.

Ashley- I liked the last minute dress....but that poor fit one-I HATE HATE that big gathered skirt on plus size-she is Channeling 1950's Mexico...sorry it isn't going to sell toots.

Next week...I simply can NOT watch the finale'...will be wrapped up in son's rehearsal & wedding-hope you guys fill me in!

I liked Edmunds last minute dress over the mock turtleneck ruffle dress.

Agree, the skirt on Ashley's ill fitting top was not attractive. The zipper in the front even made me think it was on backwards.

I'm worried about the sheer in Kelly's collection. I hope she listened to Tim and bought it in other shades.

I loved Edmund's last minute dress. His ruffled monstrosity was hideous. It looked like some Regency era mourning dress.
Ashley doesn't wear clothing that flatters her, so I'm not surprised her designs were not flattering either.

I did not like Edmunds ruffle dress but the other two were good. He can do better.

Kelly has some talent. Too bad the two outfits she chose and the one day outfit did not show it. I did not like what she had on the runway. She can do better also.

Candace is way out there. I really liked the Hollywood dress that she made. The one day dress was good also. I did not like the red and white outfit and thought the coat on the third outfit really pretty, seemed a little on the heavy side.

I liked Ashley's purple and pink lace dresses but feel that the third outfit was not made as well.

Can't wait to see everyone's final collection!

No, the more simple black dress with the white edging was the last minute dress.

I kinda liked the long black dress with the ruffle. BUT, it really bothered me that the tail end of the ruffle wasn't sewn down, and just flapped around like a tail.

I was happy Tim Gunn used the save even though we all knew it was going to happen.

Also yes multiple contestants show at fashion week but there has to be something said for those who know they didn't make it there at the end of the competition and those that made top 3/4. I don't think the others get money from production or guidence for their collection.

Ashley's collection was horrible. Her models just did not look good. Those outfits were not flattering at all, except for the teal dress which was very pretty, and her headpieces were tacky. I turned the tv off with the distinct impression that Project Runway was trying too hard to make a statement by picking the plus size collection over the best collection.

I have not watched yet.....but if Ashley won, I am disappointed.
