What did you take a picture of today??

Today is dd10's "graduation" as she moves to 5th grade and middle school in the Fall. She has been fever-free for over 24 hours now so hopefully she will get through the day ok. I will bring her in around noon time so she can get some more rest this morning. It's a dreary, drizzly day here so I am expecting all the festivities will be inside. I hope I can get some decent pictures! They are showing a slide show of the kids through their years at the elementary school and there are many of mine in the show as I went to many of the in-school activities - looking forward to seeing it! (and each student will get a dvd of the show)

Today is a copy of the receipt from the purchase of the vest/tie set for sister's wedding...which she said she was purchasing and only for me to find out I had to purchase...then she keeps changing the color name... I matched the color off the invitation and if she doesn't like it...send us home... this wedding has cost us $400.00 out of pocket for 2 kids to be in the wedding.... I still have DS8's shoes to buy....but at least he'll get more wear out of them... I bought the tux on ebay for $30.00....and $25.00 for the vest/tie set....

Ok, I could vent for a while longer...but I've already told DH if she goes bridezilla towards me..she is going down in a red dress and short 2 people in the wedding party... cause I will NOT deal w/ that childish crap... I know it's your wedding day...and I'm happy for you...but no one should be treated like crap end of story!

Deep breath Nancy! When is the wedding?

My Cricut came today so that is my photo for the day! I will probably get DH or one of the kids to take a photo of me using it.

Now I just have to find a place for it to "live".

The wedding is end of July...
I got the vest/tie on order.. they emailed me and it's already shipped...
I went out and found his shoes on sale...so that is done...
I'm completely done.. I'll have to find a dress here at home that fits as we overspent our budget on 2 kids...so DS13, myself and DH get nothing new to wear.. no big deal... really it's not.. it's just the principle of the attitude.. I don't do attitude well..ask Buffy...

LOL! Just smile and nod if she makes any more changes and say "I will take care of it.". The day of the wedding she will be too busy/stressed to notice if you "took care of it" by keeping things the way they are!

You are absolutely right! I will have to do that from today forward!!!
I'm so glad we eloped...it was just me and DH! No issues, no problems, no families, no worries!
