Probably me with my friend, who is so in love she is glowing. She is a widow, and has been alone and lonely for so long, and met the most wonderful man. So, I might have someone take our picture together! I'm not in my book very much at all...

OR something jewelry class related, as this is my 2nd to last class to teach. When I start full time again, I have to give up teaching...sigh...

Mine will be a picture of me and my BFF at the restaurant she's taking me to for my birthday lunch (actual birthday is tomorrow). It'll be a festive picture because she always goes all out. Last year the server asked us how many more were joining us because with all the stuff she had brought it looked like a party for more than just us 2!!

Tuesday is the day when I take my elderly Mom food shopping so I took a picture of the store sign and my Mom in the background. It has been such a part of my life for several years and I want to document that.

I thought today's picture was going to be one that I took of DD and DS looking at the flowers around a tree at school. But then we got home and pulled into the garage. As I was getting out of the car I saw a HUGE rat sitting right there beside it. I SCREAMED, jumped back in the car and called DH. While we waited for someone to come resuce us I cracked my door open to take some pictures. (It was obviously a sick rat because it barely moved, but it was alive.)

I think I'm going to have rat nightmares for a while now.

Today's pic was of DS doing his "standing"--not really standing but trying to bear weight on his legs while we hold his hands. He is so proud!!

OH Robin!! That is a nightmare!! I think it's great that you opted to stay in the car til help arrived.. my kids would have been trying to get out of the van to see what they could do to ease the rat's pain... ERK! A true scrapper has the camera ready!!

Tomorrow: The Muppets!! (okay so technically its cheating but Im going on the if we have attractions and merchandise it counts!) There is a Muppet exhibit at the History Center that looks super cool so tomorrow thats going to be my road trip

Wasn't it nice to have that weather today..now lets hope the storms are mild and nothing to do w/ tornados like poor OK got hit with today... we have our weather alert system on and ready for the night!!!
