no not really. but maybe!!!!![]()
ya know that after i typed it i thought about the *special bucket*!
ds is doing his party at the pool AGAIN this year. and they are the party favor. my family is really big on the favor part of the party. so his theme is going to be beach balls.
so i bought red, green, yellow and blue (colors of the ball) beach buckets and shovels and i'm filling them with goodies. so far i have under the sea workbooks, bags of swedish fish, sea life creature rings, beach balls, goldfish crackers, swell up towel that has a beach ball on it.
i need a few more things to actually fill them up. then once they are filled i wrap them up and tie some red, green, blue and yellow ribbon around them and make it all nicey nice.
ya got suggestions what else i can put in them? i'd love to have some ideas.
My picture will either be of the airport when I go pick DH from there tonight or of DS at a Boy Scout Eagle Court of Honor for one of the boys in his troop. DS will be leading the new Eagle as well as all the other Eagle Scouts in the audience in the Eagle Pledge.
WAY COOL DIT!
Side note on the scouts- DH was a cub and scout leader when DS20 was a young'in. He had a great group of kids, all different backgrounds. There was this one boy who just loved him and loved scouts. He didn't have a dad in the picture, and DH always made sure he was OK for trips and sleepovers. Well, DH and DS20 stopped scouts after a while, and DH lost track of the boy. A couple of years ago, he gets in invitation for this boy's Eagle ceremony. DH goes, and had no idea, but he was the guest of honor. The boy pinned DH, and said he changed his life. DH was in purple puddles, as am I writting this. You just never know how you are going to change a kid's life, and scouts is such a great thing! You must be really proud of him!
