What did you take a picture of today??

This will be a sad one today. We heard last night that our former boss died/killed himself. He was 73 and suffering with stage IV lung cancer, among other things. He was a co-founder of the company where dh & I met, where I worked for over 10 years until ds was born, and where dh still works now for over 20 years. I would like to take a picture of his obit in the paper or if there is something on-line.

Very, very sad and tragic...

Oh Jill, I am so sorry.... that is going to be very tough on all of you!

Today will be a photo of my DD at her XC race today!!! Last week she ran her 3 mile event in 23:04... this week she needs a 22:50!!! I want to have her down to a 22 by the end of season... next year the colleges will start looking at her if she is under the 22 minute mark!!!

my picture could be of our bull leaving the farm. as stupid as it sounds he can never be replaced. We have a farmer of 35 years with herefords coming down to look at him.

Jill I'm sorry that is awful hard to take,please try to remember that he is in a better place, he probably couldn't handle the suffering anymore. My best buddy in highschool grandfather did the same thing with his cancer.

Christy--I'm sorry about your bull! I know you'll miss him!!

Today, we decided to just get out and do some fun shopping. DH put on his "Where the Wild Things Are" t-shirt. That made me remember that DS had one, too, so I found it in the closet (it hadn't ever been worn) and put it on him as a "surprise". So, my pic is of my two men in their "wild" tees!!

PJ ran at 23:02 again.. her time was a little off in the 2nd mile... blast it!

so far no picture of the day of Curly Joe leaving.
It's really sad that I'm that attached to this Boy.

so lets see maybe the picture will be of my husband FINALLY doing something around the house he's making shepards pie.

Nancy PJ will get there, my BF in high school used to have trouble with that second mile. Give her a few more races she'll do it she is your daughter after all.

We had to re-configure our loop again..and we have alot more hills than last time...so really she did better than last week by over 30 seconds.. thus putting her under 23....but you know kids...never think about the change in the course and take that into account!

Nan, I'll email you the pic tomorrow! You know how WILD my guys are anyway!! And tell PJ we said, "Way to go!!" I know she doesn't think about the change vs. the time difference, but she still ROCKS!!! And if she needs us to come up there and tell her, WE WILL!!!

Hey! We'll be contacting you next summer for sure.. PJ is wanting to look @ 2 colleges your direction.. ETSU (I think that is it..) and U of Maryville (Or Maryville U or what ever it is.. ) I told her the only reason we would consider those out of state is that fact her Aunt & Uncle are close enough to handle things till we can get there!
