I just read Becky's blog and I really feel bad with how harsh some of the comments are... As a retail nut I can easily see how they prob couldve handled it better but when demand outweighs supply AND the supply chain- No amount of organization can prevent the collapse...

I guess I don't totally see how one *needs* the kit to do the project and by not having the kit ruins the project- I still say that come mid year there will be a HUGE amount of this on ebay because statistically how many people will even make it to Feb?

I agree with you -- but how many people will want a partially used kit?

You are definitely right....I don't need the kit. THe fact that it is all ready for me to use without doing the work that the fabulously talented ladies making their own have been doing, is what really sold me on the project. Plus the way it all packages up nice and neatly in the boxes.

I'm not giving up hope yet. THanks for the blog info MarlynnP and the encouragement from Disneyland Emily.

LOL! Did you figure out if you got one?? I think if you have an order #, you should be good. I'm still not quite sure how some people had totals and some people had $0. Did some of you guys who showed $0 go ahead and finish the order? There is a new post on BH's blog if anyone is still checking...

I'm glad I decided to make my own.. I would have been beyond stressed....especially w/ the time outs...but that is just me.. but the nasty-ness of some individuals..give me a break! Some should have had their mouth and hands adhesived together!

I still haven't figured mine out--I have one order with $0 total and then one other one with a real price total. Who knows? I think I'm going to try to call Customer Service tomorrow or Monday to find out!

I don't know. I have an email confirmation with an order id number -- nothing else listed at all, no price, no item etc. I did see the confirmation. It listed $35 something as the total. I hit the printer friendly button and then sent it to the printer but it never printed. Several people mentioned getting 2 emails -- one with not much info and another with all of the details. I did not get a 2nd email. I have checked my credit card several times (hmmm...a bit obsessively perhaps?) and I have not been charged. I sat on hold with customer service for 1/2 hr and then gave up. Maybe I will call tomorrow or Monday. If anyone has more than one, please check here before you return it.

My order had $0. I just continued on...They have already charged my account. It is a debit/credit card account that I have for things just like this. So maybe it shows up sooner than a credit card would?

Susan, I hope you get one! I would think since you have a confirmation number, you should be good.

explain to me why someone would put this kit up on ebay without having it in hand, especially since who knows when it might actually ship???? but what I REALLY don't understand is why someone would bid on it when you have no idea when the seller might actually get it???? seems kind of insane to me... maggie

There are so many extra supplies in the kit that you could start from the beginning & make it completely your own. Even if it was partially used. But, I totally agree w/ you. The only reason I decided to do this project is b/c all I have to do is slip a picture in a slot & write a few sentences on a predone card & slip it into the book too. I have ENOUGH albulms to complete & pages to scrap to catch up & w/ a newborn coming. I know I can take 3 seconds to click a picture & a minute to write a few things. DD is very interested in doing this & she doesn't want to have anything to do w/ scrapping. So, once I get my kit, I'm going to let her use some of the cards for her albulm. And will also use them as templates to cut out of our own card stock supply that is over flowing my craft area. That way we can have themed pages for the holidays & won't have to do scrap pages. I'll be adding stickers too. We were in Walmart tonight & went to the stationary section (not the art/craft section) & found a couple books that would work really well for this project for under $21. Just make sure you read the sticker that tells you how many photos they hold. The ones we found held 500. One that I thought would be super easy, but not very decorative, had 3 - 4x6 slots on each sleeve & a space to the left of each photo to journal. So, if any of you didn't get your kit & would like a couple of each of the cards to use as a template, just pm me & I'll mail them to you. When mine gets here of course. LOL I think this is such a neat project & don't want anyone to miss out.

b/c people feel like they "Have to have" the latest & greatest of everything. I've been to so many crops & the supplies that scrappers have that they never use but buy b/c its the newest thing. I have a few of those myself. And it makes me crazy how much space I'm taking up storing products & supplies I don't use. That's why I made sure I would defintely do this project & that it was easy before I bought it.
