I put my page protectors in the album I'm using.. I forgot mom bought me a "album al' mode" like thing.. I'll upload photos.. it's 12x12 and looks like a briefcase of sorts.. I'm so excited...

Ok, off to decide on backgrounds and get mats cut for Jan before 2pm..
than I've got to get the upstairs cleaned because the kids have all decided for the rest of the day they don't have to help.. perhaps a photo of their lazy butts on the couch should be my photo of the day!

Sorry if this has been posted before...but would it be possible to post a thread every week with the progress instead of one loooonnnngggg thread? Say start it on the monday and have the pictures from the week?

Example: Pictures from January 5th - January 11th?? And we could post our picture subjects.

Maybe it's just me, but the long threads get....... LONG!

I'll go with whatever everyone else wants to do tho...just wanted to throw that out.

rofl about the pic of the drive thru... although I just yesterday scrapped some pictures of "fry day" with dd and her friends INSIDE mcdonalds... today's picture was going to be of target but the traffic light changed before I could snap the picture... so instead it was of my computer screen open to fish wrangler on facebook (I spend WAY to much time on that game....) maggie

Well DH is picking me up baseball card pages right now as I didn't get a kit but I would stioll be willing to take one off someone's hands if they end up with too many.

HAH!!! I came up with an alternate album!! The picfolio milestone from Creative Memories. I'll need 2 of them I think but I think it's a good alternative to the Becky Higgins book. I'm going to see if Lisa has one handy for me to look at this weekend.

I wondered about that - they seem awfully similar There are now four on ebay.

PO3 - I agree with you - sometimes things on ebay seem a bit unethical to me - like all the people buying 27.99 cricut carts to sell on ebay.

I've started my own book and will post it when I get my first layouts done.

Did you see the one that STARTS at $100 with a BIN of $215?

That is just crazy. Lots of people got the confirmation that says 2, they don't know for sure they are really getting those 2 do they?

Is anyone here sure they are getting more than one?

I guess I'm getting a little obsessed with these ebay things. There are now 10 up there and the same bidder is the high bidder for 7 of them. I did see the bin - wow! Aren't these people really taking a chance by trying to sell these on ebay when they don't have them, or know for sure if they're getting more than one?

I got through to customer service. SHe said if I have an order ID number, then I do have one coming. System is still down, so no way to bring up the order to see how many. She said the 2nd email goes out when it ships. So I guess I have one. I'll call on Monday to see if I can confirm.

Progress: I am going to do Jan 1 - Dec 31. I have a midnight photo from New Year's to use and for today, we took a photo of the kids on the sofa, in their pjs, outside -- we are throwing it away. There is now only an end table and a TV and toys in the livingroom -- honestly, I'd be happy keeping like that for a few years but DH is insisting on at least a sofa.

So I wanted to take a sunrise picture today- So I headed to the 'beach' before my shift... It was neat to see a ferry go by on its way to the TTC/MK... Not to common a sight..

Like I said, if you do and don't want to go the ebay route, I'll buy one. I've been saving the photos I've printed and the journaling is right there. It'll be easy to catch up the book for MIL.

if y'all join scrapbookgraphics.com and go to the challenges (I think it's under the photo challenge, but it's on the main challenge page) and sign up to participate in project 365, they will send you links for free templates. I like them, they are kind of cool. you could easily make them into paper layouts. It will be nice to "mix it up" a bit I think. maggie
