I'll post some photos of some templates I did for traditional-style for this..
DH and the boys were laughing at me because I would set the pages out and snap photos.. DH said you really need to do that.. I said "Yup, too many kids, you and I sleep at times!"

i like the weekly idea thing. i've taken pics mon, tues, wed so far. i really can't wait to start this. i'm a little worried about me and the journaling. how will i keep up with it?

I'm going to journal every day.. just a bit... like while I'm making dinner..that way it will become and everyday "routine"....

Uploading my gazillion photos now... and will upload the templates and explain my method of madness shortly!!!
I left plenty of room so that each item could be matted or other embellishments add to the free spaces...
I even had DD showing me templates today w/ my project materials!!!

I'm really still on the fence about the kit.

I just know that if I don't do the kit, I'll be stressing about embellies...as usual. The kit does take all that out of the whole thing.

Nope, I'm computer stupid in regards to digital... I have no earthly idea how the girls on the digi- challenges do it... they have my utmost respect..

I took the template nicurn showed us... roughly guessed at measurements and created my on template that I can utilize for traditional...

I've got my photos upload..transferring to photobucket and will show you my plans!!!

Ok here are the templates...

The 2x6 in the left corner is the "week of info"...
then I went w/ 4x6, 6x4, 4x4 and 2x2 mats... this enabled me to add a 1/4 inch to each side to mat the photos I wanted too.... or use the larger areas to journal and smaller areas for photos...

or even w/ the smaller areas use those as embellishment places...

This is the original template from the template that nicurn shared with us..

This is my tweaking of it in different ways so that each week is not the same..figured I could rotate them around...
