If you have Directv with an HD DVR (I have an HR20), you can now access their On Demand content for free (some movies are ppv, but they have a ton of free stuff).

All you have to do is connect your receiver to the internet via the Ethernet port on the back (you can do this directly to your router or even set up a wireless access point if you use wi-fi).

Now for the programming alert: there are several Travel Channel WDW "shows" that you can download to your DVR. I've found AK, Epcot, and AKL shows, all lasting less than 5 minutes.

Also, in case you didn't know yet, if you are at work (like me) and can't set your DVR, or (again, like me) you tend to forget when someone tries to help you (see the Samantha Brown thread), you can now set up your DVR to record on the Internet. Just log in to your Directv account and go to TV Listings. Find the program you want, click on it, and then click the Record button. Piece of cake.

Thanks for the tip...I actually did exactly that about an hour ago!
