Is there anywhere in Disneyland where we can have professional photos of our family taken? I know in WDW you can hire a photopass photographer for a private photo shoot. Can you do this in DL?

No they don't have a photopass photo session program like this at DLR.

One option you do have though (that WDW does not allow) is to bring in an outside photographer. If you google this, you can see many family sessions, engagement sessions, etc.

We recently did a honeymoon session there (and booked her for a family session later this summer because she was so fantastic. There are many photographers locally that will do this (so you can find the right fit for your family).

Pics here on my trip report (just our proofs, nothing edited) http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=44661165&postcount=40

and our edited ones on my FB page: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150736796667221.416098.748157220&type=3

Have fun planning! Hope you can find someone to do this for you!

Wow, that's a really cool idea, mom2aidanNpiper! Do you have to pay for their park admission as well?

yes, typically (unless they have an AP). You would need to cover admission and parking (and any props, etc that you may want like balloons, cotton candy, etc).

It was a great shoot- and we are so excited to do a family one that's a little more over the top and fun (not so romantic).

Please post the pictures up when you get a chance! I'd love to see them :)

What a great idea! I didn't know that DLR allowed this and I'm thinking she might have a new customer this July! :) Thanks for the info!
