Professional Photographers

My first visit to Disneyland is coming fast! I guess I'm going to ask a gazillion Q's right up to the day I leave. Anyway, I assume this is available in DL and DCA. I just wanted to know are there any professional photographers that take a picture of you with a backdrop of the castle or with characters? I definitely know they do pictures in front of the castle, but I'm not sure about the characters. Some of my WDW pro pics came out really good, so I think they are worth the price of paying.

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=#006400>You know, Quentin, I haven't seen them myself. Of course, the last time I was at DCA it was pouring down rain.

I know they do have where you can take some cool pics at DCA - Webmaster Adam, Zarr aka Joe, & TJMunk took a great one that showed them climbing Grizzly Peak.

Our last trip to DL was 11/00 and in New Orleans Square our 3 DD's had their pic taken by a pro photographer with NOS in the background. Not that I am predjudiced or anything but the picture came out just great with our DD's just beautiful and Christmas in New Orleans Square in the back. However, this was the only place that I saw professional photographers. I didn't see any in front of the Castle. Is this something new and I missed it? We are planning to go back in late October and I would like to have a picture done there for our Christmas cards, so I guess I will look for one.

I haven't experienced it personally, but a friend was just there 1-2 months ago and said there was a photographer near the castle. I too had never heard of this. She was very happy with her pictures as well. It sounds as though they take pictures and you go to a certain store after a certain time where you can preview your pictures, and you're under no obligation to buy them.

In April, I saw photographers on Main Street. Don't they still take pictures inside Mickey's House in Toontown? I have also seen photographers in Ariel's grotto.
Quentin, just take a camera and ask someone to take a picture of you with any of the characters. I always take pictures for people.

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=#006400>A whole group of us stood on Main Street & got our picture taken. Of course, we were just a tad worried as the "photographer" was taking his time, and the horse-drawn carriage was getting closer & closer!! lol

You can usually find the Disney photographer’s just inside the main gate at Disneyland near the floral Mickey. On Main Street in the area of Town Square. In front of the castle around the Hub. If you have your own camera they will be glad to take a picture for you with it. If you wish to purchase a picture that they take with their camera you must go to the Main Street Photo Supply shop to pick it up. I would advise not waiting to late as the later it gets in the evening the longer the line gets.

As for DCA I can’t say that I have ever seen the photographers there.
