Products you can't find anymore

I was bummed for awhile that they no longer made sudacare shower soothers. But CVS makes a store brand version now.

I liked Vermont Country Store on facebook and just saw this. So if you want to order a few things, now is the time.

I think Quisp is still sold in NY state, too. I was so happy to have found it online. I order it from Amazon and share it. Quisp is pure sugary goodness! :goodvibes

I saw it once in a local supermarket about two years ago and bought it. Sadly, I didn't care for it anymore. But the space alien picture on the box was worth whatever it cost.

They are a seasonal item. They are available currently according to their website.

REALLY?? Thanks!!!!! They have NOT carried them for over 5 years--they must have brought them back :banana::banana::banana::banana:

Lemon Cooler cookies. I can't remember who made them, but they came in a green box, had tiny bits of lemony pieces (like chocolate chips, only lemon) and were covered in powdered sugar. Cracker Barrel restaurant now carries a similar cookie, but it's just not the same.

I also miss Frosted Alphabit cereal. They were one of my comfort foods when I had a bad day!
I've seen them recently in my local (NY) supermarkets.

Post discontinued them for a while, then brought them back with a no-sugar formula that tasted like cardboard.

They finally wised up and brought back the original sugary version, but the letters aren't puffy anymore...they're just skinny and sad. Not the same.

Now I want Alphabits for breakfast!

Chicago area seems to hang onto the foods!

And the Relish - when you look for it, Google: Pickalilli. That's what it's called. Or I can send you some? http://www.viennabeef.com/products/item.asp?PRODUCT_ID=5

;)

Thanks....yes, a Facebook friend from Chicago says that emerald green relish is everywhere there. In fact, it's an "essential" ingredient of an authentic Chicago hot dog, as well as celery salt and Vienna Beef brand dogs. I'll probably be in Chicago in early October and will be able to stock up.

The local Sonic drive-in chain has Chicago-style hot dogs, but, alas, they used regular dark green relish.

Roche Bros sells Quisp around here.

And I had a Charms lollipop a few weeks ago, from the hospital gift shop. :)

Yeah, VCS is a bit pricey, but it's nice when you can find something you're looking for. They have specials from time to time and when things go on clearance you can get some bargains. They are also really good to deal with! :thumbsup2

I buy the Howard's Picalilli - I never even noticed it said Green Tomato on the label. My brother got me hooked on it.

I suddenly have the urge for Alphabets too!

I used to make keylime pie with the Royal pudding brand of keylime pudding. They don't have that flavor in any stores anymore. I did find it online a few years ago, but wasn't interested in having an entire case of it at one time!

When my son's 60 mg Allegra went OTC it became nearly impossible to find.

Jolt soda, plain old cola with a kick nothing like those icky drinks now

I miss Entemanns Black Forest Cakefrom the 80's

when I was little in the 70's we used to get a box of cookies with smiley faces on them, the box had chocolate & vanilla

One thing that was gone & just came back were the Glade Decor Scents glass holder in clean linen. I fell in love a few years ago because it doesn't give me migraines and then they were gone like magic. Just yesterday Iwalked by the section and saw they are back and even have a new warmer
which actually smells the same(used it last night) the other kind didn't smell the same. My Dh
was laughing at how excited I got And had to stop me from getting 10.

Stuff to kill nuisance bees on my property, I have carpenter bees that are eating away at my fence
like termites, they do not make honey yet NOTHING kills them or even makes thtem want to move. I sprayed the yard for ticks etc the other day and now all I see are molted bug shells... They literally shrugged the stuff off, freakin hulk bugs.

In the town where DS goes to college they have one of these. I was quite surprised. I didn't even know it when I pulled in and got out to start pumping my gas. It was really nice.

but it's sold by the case of 12 boxes..and it's almost $23 plus shipping?..thats a little steep for soup for me..lol!

oh if I could bring back Fudgetown Cookies..used to love them and not sure why they stopped making them..think they were made by Keebler..oh they were delish :sad2:

I forgot about these until I saw your post. You're right - they were delicious!

I think it's sad my kids can't experience the fun of getting a toy in a cereal box! I know it was junk stuff, but the feeling when it dropped into your cereal bowl was the best!
