I think Quisp is still sold in NY state, too. I was so happy to have found it online. I order it from Amazon and share it. Quisp is pure sugary goodness!![]()
They are a seasonal item. They are available currently according to their website.
I've seen them recently in my local (NY) supermarkets.Lemon Cooler cookies. I can't remember who made them, but they came in a green box, had tiny bits of lemony pieces (like chocolate chips, only lemon) and were covered in powdered sugar. Cracker Barrel restaurant now carries a similar cookie, but it's just not the same.
I also miss Frosted Alphabit cereal. They were one of my comfort foods when I had a bad day!
Chicago area seems to hang onto the foods!
And the Relish - when you look for it, Google: Pickalilli. That's what it's called. Or I can send you some?http://www.viennabeef.com/products/item.asp?PRODUCT_ID=5

Roche Bros sells Quisp around here.
And I had a Charms lollipop a few weeks ago, from the hospital gift shop.
Yeah, VCS is a bit pricey, but it's nice when you can find something you're looking for. They have specials from time to time and when things go on clearance you can get some bargains. They are also really good to deal with!
I buy the Howard's Picalilli - I never even noticed it said Green Tomato on the label. My brother got me hooked on it.
I suddenly have the urge for Alphabets too!

I think it's sad my kids can't experience the fun of getting a toy in a cereal box! I know it was junk stuff, but the feeling when it dropped into your cereal bowl was the best!
