Procedure For Buying AP

1)Where can you get them (all parks and hotels)?
2)How long does the process take (photo,fingerprint required)?
3)If you order in advance does it take effect when picking it up or the first day you go to a park (voucher sent out)?

We have owned annual passes for several seasons now but have not visited since they made their changes late last year so I can't help you with the questions that you have regarding the new photos/biometric stuff but I can tell you that if you order them online or over the phone, the 1 year window will begin the day you activate them.

But, do they now take your photo and place them on the AP's?

We'll be there next Saturday afternoon to activiate our new passes!!!

You can buy them at any park,guest relations windows at Downtown Disney or the airport shops, I think maybe Ocala. You cannot buy them at the hotels. There is no picture. They do not take a fingerscan when you buy it, it is recorded the first time you go through the turnstiles. If you buy a voucher, you still have to go to the window, it saves very little time because they still have to key in your name and address, it becomes effective then.

I bought mine from the local Disney Store In Dallas in October and activated it my first day in WDW in January at MGM Guest Relations. I just had to show them picture ID and she exchanged the voucher for the real Annual Pass with my name on it. It took just a couple of minutes.

I recently read on here that they are no longer selling them at the disney stores.

Yep went yesterday and they told me they were not selling AP vouchers at my local Disney store any longer. I have a 15% off coupon good until tomorrow and walked out empty handed. There was nothing that caught my attention!

As your coming down from Canada, your best bet is to buy them from the "Magic of Disney" store at MCO, as long as the store is still open, and of course if your flying down. Thats what we did 2 weeks ago, took about 10mins. Just make sure you bring your drivers licence.
They'll take all your info and print out your AP right there. That way you can go right to the parks instead of waiting in lines at the gate.

You can also buy activated passes at Character Warehouse and Character Premier at Belz Outlet Mall and Character Premier at Orlando Premium Outlets. Both ot these placed normally have discounted Disney merchandise.

Arguing with DisneyWorld.com right, I tried to reserve on line. I have to do a ticket every two months (we are not doing well and trip is not until Sept.). We are doing PAP's, so WDW is getting their money. I couldn't reserve under 10 yrs. old on line-I send them an email to let them know the online booking problems. I get an email back about prices (must be non Fl. resident rates at $ 68.99 more rate-they are thinking of). I email back I want a toll free number,)Yes, I have them-but I want them to respond) and I want an explaination from a Supervisor, my on-line info includes Fl address. Does it not show on their end?? I can't stand to rag if it's unfair....but how much do they know.?

I am so tempted to just go Universal, but I love "Disney", but could do without.

Am I being big headed and demanding, or should I expect at least knowledgable info for a Fl res.
