Geez, I can't believe this thread hasn't been locked yet. I think we can all agree that in the concierge lounge, people (with money and without) can be pigs, slobs and rude. Some come dressed appropriately, some don't. (Hey, in Brazil, thongs are not so offensive.) Some children are well-behaved and polite, some are not. Some people try to rip off a company by sneaking in a person and eating more than others, others comply with the rules.
THAT'S LIFE. WDW concierge doesn't transform anyone into the perfect guest - or the most gracious one, either, as some of the posters have shown. We can't control others' behavior no matter how unacceptable it is. We can only control how we react to it. This is just me, but if I felt so offended I would say something - as I did when some snotty teenagers were using serious profanity on the MK bus with me and my children in the seat in front of them. Or remove myself from the offenders. Has anyone tried talking to hotel management about their issues? If so, did it get resolved? Could moving to another resort have solved it for you?
In these kinds of situations I have to remind myself that as a responsible adult I can (and should) say something. It may not give me the desired result, but it's better than stewing about it and secretly wishing in my head that those buffet-food-lickers come down with food poisoning.
Having said that, I'm hoping to stay concierge next year when our family visits again. I'll leave my thong at home, but still have to take my kids. Sorry. (Don't worry, though, they only lick each other's food...)
