Problems logging in ?VMK DOWN; Closed for enhancements

Just found out that vmk is closed for enhancements. A notice came up while logged into vmk

I just got the enhancements message Just lost connection a minute ago

Oh wow! who knew everyone was locked out while we were chatting away in my room, monkey? Guess we should have been playing fireworks, huh?!?!

Looks as though they might be changing servers. I got the main page to load and I was watching down in the bottom as it was laoding, and it said transferring.... "avmk.disney.go.com" ... I do not recall there being an "A" before vmk before

I don't think they are doing any real maintenance or enhancements. More likely, they needed to reboot the servers and that's the standard message they send. It's not much different from you or me having to reboot our computer in the middle of playing VMK except when it happens to VMK we all get to share the misery.

Get home from work and what do i do i check my e-mail, log in to vmk, and come read the Dis. Then oh no what is this VMK Down say its not SO!!!! alas vmk BSOD and the posts were correct as they always are at the DIS. So the question now is what do i do, No VMK, What to do. Well i guess i have time to go cook dinner and read more of the DIS, hey i might even go read some post over in the Theme Park and Resorts Sections if VMK not back up and running soon.!!!

I don't think it is just VMK that we can not get into. I tried Disney.com and I get there but after that forget it. I have been trying to look up cruises and was getting really mad when the page would not load and told me there was a problem. I also tried for WDW and got th same thing. oh well guess I can't play VMK or start figuring out how much money I will need to start saving between now and Halloween 2008. What do do now with my time? Lurk here of course!

I can't seem to get onto any of the Disney sites that I have tried. Mainly Disneyland homepage and VMK. I wonder if Disney has been hacked! Or maybe they are just switching all their sites over to a new server?? Doesn't make sense though.

They werent hacked, if they were there would have been alot bigger problems. Im sure theyre just switching or updating servers.
