probably stupid question re:fireworks

pardon my ignorance ..we have not been to DL yet! (23 days and counting!)

i just checked the schedule and it looks like that fantasmic is at 9pm the day we arrive and fireworks at 9:25pm.

will we be able to see them both if we are where we need to be for fantasmic? OR are they far away from one another? just totally clueless about the "size" of DL since we are so used to WDW! TIA!

You can see the fireworks but most likely will not be able to see Dumbo fly and the laser projections on the castle(special effects) from the fantasmic viewing area. Have not seen the new show yet.

You could watch the (9:25) fireworks from the hub, and after the fireworks you could walk to the Rivers of America to see the 10:30 Fantasmic.

Like Jack mentioned above, if you see the 9:00 Fantasmic, then your best option is to stay in place and watch the fireworks from the Fantasmic viewing area.

Trying to go to the hub to see the fireworks (after watching the first F!) is not a good option.

I'm with the previous poster - if you see the 9:00 F! don't even try to get to Main Street for the fireworks. For one thing, they *slightly* overlap, and the fireworks start before F! is completely over. For another thing, there's just too many people, and even if you get to Main Street, you might have to walk allll the way to Town Square before you find a place that you can get onto Main Street itself to look back at the castle. The Cast Members use ropes to block off the sidewalks on Main Street into walkways ONLY (no stopping!), so you have to either duck under the ropes (if you can even find some place where there's room to do that!) or walk to Town Square where the ropes end. It's a lot easier to see the fireworks and then see the late F! show - usually you can get a decent spot for the later show after the fireworks end.
