Yes, like that "I'm pro-choice before you have sex" line was clever the first billion times it was used.

Hmmm, that's interesting. I have never heard that kind of response from a woman who lost a child before. Not saying that's bad, just an observation. The folks I've known who've had miscarriages were devastated.
So when you had these miscarriages, did you walk away with an, "Oh well," and never give the "fetal chicken" another thought? Just curious.
Pin a rose on my nose then, I guess.Up until now, I thought Areal Mae had cornered the market on insensitivity on this thread, but that one at least equals her remark.
So first you call Chobie a troll and now you question Jenny's knowledge of Jewish law. Good luck.
What on earth does adoption have to do with rape/murder/molestation/robbery?![]()
With men, it's a control issue.
Whenever I see an anti-abortion bumper sticker on a car, I just KNOW there's a man driving - and when I pull up, there he is.
The person waving the fetus signs? White man, right? Right.
It's all about sexual control. They don't care about anyone's life.
JennyMominRI has the courage to reveal her own personal and devastating example to try and help explain her stance in this issue and you pop off with this smart-aleck response?
Good Goddess, it was a question, not a snarky comment. She got it. She replied to my question.
.
The fact that i answered it does not mean I didn't view it as snarky... The way you asked it with the words *new* Jewish law, used the way they were was snarky, and I think most people viewed it that way, not just me.
It really is quite hard to show clearness on the internet, when you lack the facial emotions...
I didn't mean anything snarky by it. I seriously meant, "Is that new? I've never heard of it...perhaps our family didn't talk about it."
I got it.
Everyone I know got it.
Maybe it comes from them knowing me, but I seriously meant nothing by it. It was just a question.

I'm just wondering, do people in your family discuss Jewish Law a lot
And, to be quite honest, I'm surprised to see this debate still going. I've been reading back the past few pages, and am thorougly enjoying the well explained viewpoints on both sides.![]()
You´re surprised it´s still going? You´ve certainly helped...
I thought a lot of your family was Jewish? No, but it was one of the Faiths I researched in finding 'myself'. I can't say I'm knowledgeable on it, or abortion, or religion, but, based on what I have researched, I've never heard of what Jenny said, hence the questioning.
[/I]??
I thought a lot of your family was Jewish?
Yeah, the half I see every three years.
