DH had the PRK surgery on his eyes Thursday afternoon. He is in a terrible amount of pain. I keep putting the drops in his eyes for him and he is taking his medicine, but he said that his eyes are really painful (intense, constant pain - his words) and he can barely open them past slits and they are really sensitive to the light. He said it's like someone has poured Tabasco sauce in his eyes. All he wants to do is be in a dark room.
Anyone had this experience and if so, any tips? I'm trying to help him, keeping track of his medicine and drops schedule and making sure he is drinking enough but I have a wretched cold and I'm trying to take care of a teething one year old who is now catching my cold too. It's a good time here in my house
