Private VIP Tour and Private Epcot Dinner

Hi we are going to WDW over the Thanksgiving week and are doing the private VIP tour. Has anyone gone before? 7 people in our group have never been to Disney before and since it will likely be so busy that week I think this tour will be great for everyone! Any tips?? Also, has anyone ever done a private dinner in Epcot through Disney catering?
