Private transfer CDG-Paris - Recommendations?

Mum has her heart set on a private transfer when we arrive in Paris, so we don't need to think after being on a plane/in airports for 27 hours... Fair enough I guess

All the places I've tried so far have come up with some terrible reviews about their reliability. Usually I take negative reviews with a pinch of salt, but since this is the main reason we're doing it, and it won't be cheap, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a reliable service? Last thing we want is to be wandering around a big strange airport at 5:30am wondering if we've been forgotten

Ideally we'd like a sedan style car rather than a van, but if the most reliable place only has vans, we won't be fussy!

we used ezyshuttle from CDG and it was great service. Highly recommend, but it's expensive. But well worth it. From Beauvais we used RStransports, planing on using their service on our upcoming trip in March. also great service. We used shared option, it's cheaper and both ways there was no one to share our drive. Well worth the money.
Both companies had good, comfortable cars, were on time, drive safely, nice drivers, great service.

I think I may book this also. There are 3 adults and possibly a 3 month old by the time we fly from the US to Paris and this would be easier than the train or bus with baby I would think

Just make sure you check about baby seats when you book - I've seen a couple that specify you need to provide your own.

Are you talking about going from CDG into central Paris and then from Paris to DLP ?

Thba (Thorsten) used Tio Shuttle to come and collect him at Gare du Nord and take them to DLP and then back to GdN and highly recommends them.

I've heard several reports that Ezyshuttle farms out the job if they can't do it but the clients only finds out at arrivals which puts me off them

Honestly from the airport into Paris I'd be using a normal Taxi Parisien as they will always be the best way of getting there. The shuttles are not greatly thought off for Paris unlike in other countries were they are standard.

I'm just talking about from CDG to our Paris hotel when we first arrive. Mum doesn't want to bother with taxis in case we can't find the taxi rank or there's a big line or something. But it does sound very much like transfers aren't really the done thing. Hopefully ours works out ok!

We're planning to just take the train between Paris and Disneyland.

The taxi ranks are very easy to find as they are sign posted from each terminal. Being a large group you won't be waiting long as they will call a large vehicule for you.

But if your Mum wants a shuttle I guess you don't have much choice

We're not a large group, it will just be me and Mum. I'll have a chat to her about our options and see what she thinks given all the information I've found

We used Tio Shuttle at the beginning of December after a recommendation from Carrie Cat. We got them from CDG to our Paris hotel, then from our Paris hotel to DLP and then from DLP back to CDG.

I have to say I found them brilliant. The first driver was waiting in arrivals when we got there and our flight was delayed by about 30 minutes. The second and third drivers then picked us up at our hotels at bang on the time we requested. I had requested a booster seat for my daughter which the first driver did not have but the second and third driver did so I would just recommend an e-mail to them the day before you travel reminding them of any such requests. My daughter is tall enough though that we were fine without the seat on the first journey.

All three journeys were in vans but they were extremely comfortable and we could control the temperature and air-conditioning/heating and set it to whatever temperature we wanted which was great.

I have done Paris to DLP by train before and particularly if you have to get to the RER station by Metro I would warn you that it is tough going when you have luggage. There are a lot of steps both up and down and carrying heavy cases up and down them is not easy. Yes the shuttle is much more expensive and if you are on a strict budget you may have no choice but the shuttle is a much easier option. I was also travelling with my mother (along with my 8 year old daughter) and we would never have managed with luggage on the train. As I've said I did it before and if I'm honest it was a nightmare

I actually never thought about having to lift the luggage on a train since it has been forever since I took one! I am sooo glad you reminded me of that! Yep I am DEFINITELY doing a shuttle, no matter if we have a baby with us or not. Well worth the extra cost

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

We'll be doing quite a bit of train travel through Europe before we get to DLP, so we should be used to it by then. We all pack fairly light and my parents are definitely not the frail and elderly type

My main concern about organising a shuttle is that we don't really know what time we'll be heading to DLP yet - we plan to do a tour of the Eiffel Tower in the morning before we go, and aren't sure how long we'll spend there. I like the flexibility of the train.

Will definitely check out Tio though, some good reviews for them
