Private Shared Transfers

Please forgive me, I am quite new to this site and am planning my first trip to DLP and I want everything to be perfect, so this might sound like a silly question!

Can anyone please tell me how a shared transfer works? I know it means there will be others in the car with you, but would it be people who are on your flight? If you are the first one to be picked up, how long could you have to wait for everyone else to get through customs etc? What if your flight is delayed - will they still wait for you?

I have been looking at BS/RS Transfers who are quoting a good price of 55 Euros each way, which works out just over £10 more than getting the coach.

I seem to be answering all your threads at the moment !

Although you pay a "shared" price, you may not be sharing a transfer with anyone, especially with RS/BS transports.
We used them in November last year, paid the 55 euro shared price for 3 passengers, and didn't have to share the transfer with anyone else. We were picked up by the driver from our exit at arrivals (inside the terminal building) and taken straightaway to DLRP and our hotel in a lovely shiny sedan.

Thanks for the info. I know that if I don't plan everything, then the time in DLP will fly by and I'll be home wishing to go back (although I'm sure I will anyway lol!)

we are using RS transport in august was a bit unsure but ive heard nothing but good reports about them so looking forward to the trip im travelling on my own with two 11yr old girls and it seemed a very good price for just a bit more than the train or bus and a lot less worry
