Private rooms at Swan for reception

DH and I are renewing our wedding vows at the Swan on June 18. We are having a twilight ceremony which will be followed by a dinner (or reception afterwards). It started out as an intimate VR, but now has grown into 20-30 people. We were just going to do a dinner at one of the restaurants afterwards, but now with so many people we are thinking of getting a private room. Has anyone done this at the Swan before that could give me info on the rooms available? I know the Bluezoo and Shula's have private rooms, but our coordinator told us about how good the Swan catering is. Anyone tried their food, or done a wedding or VR there?

We are getting Married at the Swan in Oct.
We are having a private reception-it is going to be outdoors on the Cresent Terrace after the wedding. (wedding at 5.30,cocktail hour,dinner at 7:15pm)
We also have a back up ball room reserved in the event of inclemant weather.
Sorry I don't have pics to share with you,, but just wanted to let you know they do have private rooms!!
I have done oodles of research on the swan and emailed many past brides-they have all given glowing reports of the reception/food!
Would love to hear more of your plans!

Thanks grover and congratulations! I'm sure you are so excited with the wedding right around the corner. Our renewal is at 7:30 p.m. at the Crescent Terrace (if its available). I wanted our reception outside, but my DH thinks it will be too hot for my dad, who has a bad heart. We were thinking of going with a private room and having the Swan catering for it. DH wants to have the reception in the private room at Shula's because he's such a huge steak eater. But with a private room I think you can probably decorate it more. We're trying to go all out for this one because our first wedding was planned by my family and we had no say. And then our limo broke down on the way to the church and I passed out during our vows, so all in all, it wasn't a wedding for the books. I saw a pic of one of the private rooms done up with columns and lights and it looked incredible! My consultant at Just Marry is Michele. She is wonderful. Hi!! I got married at the Swan in March and Michele was my coordinator too. She's great.

If you think you're going to have 30 people, consider having your reception in one of the Swan ballrooms. That's what I did. We had a full sit down dinner reception and everything. I don't remember the Swan charging us for use of the room. If you're already gonna be having a dinner, why not use one of their ballrooms? Vanessa Kells arranged everything for me.
