Private parties??

Does anyone know how I can find out more details about private parties at Disney World. We will have a group of 8 people to celebrate our 10-yr. wedding anniversary in November. I've heard people talk about private viewing areas for Illuminations or private parties at Grand Floridian. Does anyone know how I can find out more details. I've thought about the cruises during Illuminations but if I don't get a reservation for that 90 days out, then I don't know what I would switch it to at that point. We were originally going to do a vow renewal but don't really want to spend the money so I'd like to celebrate some other way, but in a big way! Thanks for any advice and help!
