Private Golf Lessons - Do You Tip?

My son is starting golf lessons at a local golf club. It will be one-on-one instruction by the course pro. Does anyone know if you tip the instructor?

When I was taking private tennis lessons we tipped my instructor. Since I was taking multple series of lessons we always tipped after each series. Hope this makes sense.

I just wanted to add that every year I take private ski lessons so my DH can ski all the black diamond courses and yes, I tip my instructor after my lesson.

I took lessons for years as a kid, private, group and camp. We never tipped other than at christmas time.

Thank you both. Yes, the lessons are a series and only $100 for 3 one-hour sessions. That's one of the reasons we wondered if we should tip.
