I know you CAN make your priority seating reservations at 60 days out......however I was wondering how far in advance most people make them? I have never made PS at DLR only ADR's at WDW which for those of you who have visited WDW know dining is a whole different topic at WDW then at DLR. We only want one PS reservation at PPH Lilo and Stitch breakfast on October 6th for my ds 8th birthday....just wondering when I should make the call. Also my mom may be joining us but we are not 100% sure yet.....should I make the reservation for the 4 of us or just the 3 we know will be there for sure?

Thanks!

Some people like to make them 60 days out, while others will wait to do so. For myself, I have so far anyway, made mine but a few days in advance. I have not as of yet anyway, had any issues with being able to secure a p.s. This being for the Blue Bayou.
It is a good idea to go ahead and make your p.s. for the number of people that you will be anticipating, and to do so as soon as you know for certain of your dining plans. I am a bit of a procrastinator, and have been fortunate in the past so as not to end up with disappointment, because I waited for as long as I had. One can never be too sure about anything, especially these days. So I do not recommend waiting as long as I have.

Make it for 4, it's not that bad if someone doesn't show up but it can be very difficult to add onto an existing PS. I've made them as early as the week before, but personally I like to make them about a month before. That way we can figure out exactly what we want. I'm thinking about making a breakfast PS for CC for our Oct. trip, I just haven't decided which day yet.

I think time of year when visiting makes a big different. I have seen people being turned away when walking up during our past stays. Also certain times a may be filled the longer you wait.

I made mine at 45-50 days since we are a group of 7 and had limited choices for times with our group size. What would it hurt to make them now? Since you know when and where you want PS ressies. Also, I agree with PP to make them for 4. Worst case you can knock it down to three.

I usually make them when I know which days I want them; sometimes it's the same day. I do tend to go in the off-season though. It wouldn't hurt to make them as soon as you know. Why wait:confused3 ?
