Prioritizing FP - FEA or Mine Train

I'm whittling down my plans for our trip the last week of August and thinking about 7 AM on Saturday.

The Facts:
  • We are doing Epcot on Thursday and Magic Kingdom on Friday.
  • I'm going to book a FP for both Frozen and the Mine Train, respectively.
  • Mine Train I'm aiming for late morning.
  • Frozen I was initially thinking of doing late (6:30 PM) to coordinate with our ADR in Mexico, but maybe I should aim for around lunchtime in case the FP line continues to go crazy by the end of the day because of popularity or ride outages?! Also because it will free up a 4th FP possibility? I'd have to rearrange our walking plans to be a little longer...
The Questions:
  1. Which FP should I try to book first at 7 AM? I'm assuming FEA.
  2. Any thoughts on FEA at noon vs. 6:30 PM? (We aren't too concerned with rides like Mission Space and Test Track, so the 4th FP is less of a priority.)

THANKS IN ADVANCE (as always!!)

I'm tossing around the same thoughts. My 60 day mark is Monday. I think I am trying to get FEA first and 7DMT next. I want to try for FEA between 10-11 because we have never done TT (kids were not tall enough last time) and want to try to get that as a 4th. I feel like I am gambling with that and it makes me nervous. Worth noting: I have never done this before. I may not be the best person to answer this but felt I could commiserate with you. :)

I just booked my FPs last Saturday. I did my Epcot day first (prioritizing FEA), followed by the MK days (prioritizing SDMT). I didn't have any trouble getting FPs for any of the rides I wanted, though the times for FEA and SDMT were a little later than I hoped (e.g., 1pm vs. my 11am desired time). There were still many late afternoon/evening times available.

After having the same problem I have been told to book Frozen first. So that is what I am doing--Frozen, then Soarin, then 7DMT.

Agree with others. Book FEA first.

I think a 4th FP+ at Epcot that will be worth anything is highly unlikely. With the two new items in the Tier 1 mix, this could change, but up until now a 4th FP+ for Test Track has been virtually unheard of.

My 60 day window was last Friday and I had no trouble booking FEA, Soarin, or 7DMT. We have 2 days at Epcot so I booked FEA first then moved to the 2nd day and booked Soarin, followed by 1st day at MK for 7DMT. We're also doing a PPO breakfast at BOG on our 2nd day at MK, so I'm hoping to ride 7DMT early without a FP that day.

Yep, that's the exact order I did on my fast pass day at 7AM (on June 10th), I was able to get all three of them. Good luck!!

I didn't book my FP till around 10 am on my 60 day, and had no problems with Frozen. ( didn't book mine)
