Printing Transfers Questions

Okay - I read the post in the top of the forum but didn't see these answers. Can some one help me?

1. Can I print using an ink jet or does it have to be laser printer?

2. All transfers should be printed in Mirror Image right?

I have a ink jet and they printed fine. As far as the mirror imagine, the transfers for dark shirts does not have to flipped. I found that out the hard way. I had set my printer for tshirt transfers and it printed them the wrong way... so i changed the printer to print on high resolution paper and it printed out really nice and the right way. The one problem that i did notice today and i don't think it was something i did wrong, but i printed out 3 shirts... 2 on black shirts and 1 white and they were fine. But the 4th shirt i did on a red shirt and the red looks like it came through the transfer.

To be more direct,

1. Do NOT use a laser printer; it won't work.

2. ONLY use the mirror image for light transfers (or as instructed in the package directions).
