Printing Boarding passes - Spirit Air

What are the advantages of printing out the boarding passes prior to arriving at the airport? Flying out of Atlantic City and I'm wondering what we do now that I've printed out our boarding passes. We will still have luggage to check as we are traveling with 2 teenage gils that have to bring their entire wardrobe on the trip . Thanks in advance.

when you select your seat and print out your boarding passes, those seats belong to you.........

the good thing about aleady having boarding passes is all you have to do is check in your luggage and go through screening.
on spirit, if you donot have your boarding pass 30 minutes prior to departure, you can lose your seat. this way you don't have to worry if you are running late to the airport or if the lines are long in securing the seats you want.
you can guarantee your group will be sitting together.

i was separated from my 3 sons when they were younger because i waited until i got to the airport to get my assigned seat. i was unable to get anyone to switch with me. ugh.....

yes, you still have to wait in line for luggage check in and screening, but you will secure your seats in advance.

Thanks for the info. I don't believe I'll be sharing it with DH as I'm sure he'll believe this would allow him to sleep another hour. We always argue on the first day of vacation because I like to get to the airport really early and he likes to get there by the skin of his teeth. Again,thanks
