We've done CRT with a dismal experience. I'd love to try 1900 Park Fare or Akershus - Which is going to get us more princesses?

I find the lists of who is where confusing ;)

I suppose we're flexible on a lunch or dinner (or even a Breakfast)...

Akershus - Combination of Belle, Snow White, Aurora, Mulan, Jasmine, Ariel. Every time we've gone there have always been 5 princesses, have never seen Ariel on our trip, but I know she's there sometimes.

1900 Park Fare - Currently I believe dinner is Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and the Wicked Stepsisters. Breakfast is Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Eeyore.

We went to Akershus for dinner last week. Belle was the "Greeter" and we had our picture taken with her. Princesses that came around were: Alice, Snow White, Aurora and Cinderella :goodvibes

Akershus will definitely get you more princesses. We had Belle as the greeter and then Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora and Mulan :)

That being said- 1900 Park Fare is probably our favorite character meal. The character interaction there is wonderful and it was the one place my dd insisted on going back to this Sept. We are doing Akershus again as well, but 1900 Park Fare is a lot of fun as well!

We did the Norway princess lunch last Sept. and Belle was the greeter with Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, and Jasmine walking around to the tables. It was great! I know the princesses change but I believe Belle is almost always the greeter.

I agree with disneymom0104. We did lunch at Akershus and dinner at 1900 PF in May and while there are obviously more princesses at Akershus, the all-around experience was better at 1900 PF. The food was very good by Disney buffet standards and the characters were a lot of fun. It was also more like a show. We did enjoy Akershus and we'd do it again, but the atmosphere was a little hectic whereas 1900 PF was more fun and relaxed. Admittedly, that might have something to do with the alcoholic beverages I was drinking. Here are some pictures from both:

We had the 11:20 lunch time last Friday and had Belle as the greeter (we received the free pictures that were beautiful) and Cinderella, Jasmine, Aurora and Ariel during lunch. We did not have Alice or Snow White. 5 total including Cinderella at lunch so she is there some of the time for lunch. We had the same Cinderella, Jasmine and Aurora as Stratman's pics.

The food was FAB. The traditional Norwegian entree was the best of all the things we ordered. The cold buffet was very good with fruit and cheeses (I didn't try the pasta salad looking dishes).

The princesses did not rush either. We were there for me mostly but everyone enjoyed it immensely. I had on my princess t-shirt with Cinderella washing the floor in her old clothes and the caption said "I could use a Fairy Godmother right now" (something like that) and Cinderella pointed to my shirt and said "I remember those days, glad they are over!". She cracked us up.

Belle called youngest ds a brave little beast. He still talks about that!

We also did the 1900 Park Fare in 2005 for Christmas dinner and it was fabulous. That was the best Belle we've ever met and Prince Charming got on his knees and air kissed my niece's hand. It was priceless.

Take Care.

Thanks so much, everyone!

I should clarify that the princesses and the setting were great at CRT, even the food was fine for us - but our waitress was just awful. It was really disappointing after spending so much money - to have such a crabby beast ;)

Anyway - Thanks for your input!

:lovestruc princess:

We went for lunch in May and Belle greeted us...then Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel, and Jasmine came around to our table. My daughter LOVED it...she was so excited everytime she saw another princess coming!! The food was pretty good and we LOVED the dessert tray!! It was well worth the money!!

Akershus has MORE princesses but we didn't really find the experience worth repeating. They just come by quickly and do the photo/autograph like most character meals and move along. And the food - blah!

At Park Faire it was very interactive. They all chatted at the tables for a while, picked on kids, did a little dance performance and so on. Hands down, the best character meal we did.

Stratman, we had the same Drizella at Park faire - and I LOVED her. I think she was my fave there. We had that same prince too - total cutie. I also think the Jasmine you've posted is the only one I've ever seen in any of my friends photos (and mine as well). She must work a lot! lol

WE have always had totally awesome experiences at Akerhaus. it is our tradition for our first night at WDW

We enjoyed Akershus for breakfast and are doing it again on our next trip. Five princesses - they can change. We saw Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Mulan, and Snow White. Very charming, very relaxed atmosphere - no one rushed.

I have not done 1900 - but I think it sounds wonderful too. If you have a Cinderella lover, that would be a good one.

I couldn't decide between 1900 Park Fare or Askerhaus so we are doing both! :rotfl2: Breakfast with the princesses and Dinner later in the trip with Cinderella at 1900 PF!

Stratman your pictures brought tears to my eyes. I can't wait fo rmy daughter to meet Aurora. She is infatuated with her.

We are doing Akershus, CRT & 1900 when we go. I can't wait!

She was really funny. She made fun of us because we're from the "kingdom" of Massachusetts and don't pronounce our R's very well. She said something like, "there's more letters in those words, you know!"

I'm glad you liked them. We actually saw Aurora 3 times in same day (Toontown Hall of Fame, Akershus, and France) so your daughter should have plenty chances. Have a great time.

Daddy wanted to get his picture taken with Sleeping Beauty but alas decorum required me to behave, not to mention she is married to someone that carries a sword.

My family did both for dinner on our trip last week. My little sister (5) enjoyed them equally, but if you are looking for more actual "Disney princesses," Akershus is the way to go. And in my opinion, the food was far better at Akershus (but do try the strawberry soup if you end up at 1900 Park Fare).
