How pretty is she?? I bet that you both had a good time! Did she keep it in for awhile? I never realized how much all of your kids looked a like when her hair is pulled back! Those pictures that you had down are wonderful looking too! And how lucky for her to sit with the fairy godmother for so long all alone!

Oh my gosh, what a GREAT update first of all, how amazing to be the first people in the park and to see an empty MK, that is just awesome!! I love that you were able to get a castle pic with no one behind you

Emily looked beautiful and I love her expression in the picture when she first saw herself!! The photopass person really did a great job capturing that!

I have to tell you I really was shocked when I read about Fairy godmother coming in to the photoshoot, I have never heard about something like that happening with those photoshoots and how special!! I was tearing up looking at the pictures, because that is just such a sweet and wonderful moment that makes Disney so special and something you could never actually plan for

I love the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!!! I agree with you that it is worth every penny!!! We were only able to get into the DTD location last year, but I got a MK one this year! It just seems even more special that it is IN the castle!

I love that she chose the princess hair!!! My daughter chose the "diva princess" where it is half bun but with the extensions. I tried to talk her out of it, but she is a dancer so I think wearing a bun 4 days a week to class has taken the magic out of it! Emily looked like such a princess!

Last year we did the big package that comes with some photo prints...so they told us where to go at DTD. I wonder if they just assume people won't want to do it? I am SO glad you knew to go because holy pixie dust!!!!! I gasped OUT LOUD when I saw the Fairy Godmother in your pictures! Oh my goodness! That is SO awesome!

Would you believe that when I made my ADRs the first thing I did was make Emily's BBB appointment? I knew I wanted to get there first thing in the morning and that I definately wanted it in the castle. Next trip I'm going to do a mother/daughter breakfast at CRT afterwards.

I hope you guys have a great experience and crossing fingers that you'll get a little pixie dust too!

Thanks! I cannot even tell you how nice it was to have an empty Main Street in front of us, so worth getting up early!

I'm totally teared up over here. What a magical post! I smiled through the whole thing. Loved the shot of Emily on the bus, she looks so excited, and the empty MK shots! Wow! Can't wait to see that for my breakfast ADR ! But those pictures of Emily's reveal and the ones of the Fairy Godmother are absolutely priceless.

I tear up every time I looked at those pictures and I'm sure you can imagine how I was while we were there

I have happy tears for Emily in my eyes! From the moment you posted the picture of her going up the castle ramp! That has to be one of my favorite pictures so far of your trip! Then the pictures with Baboo...WOW! So completely magical for Emily (and you)! I love all the pictures...what a great treasure!

Okay, now I seriously need to figure out how to get my 14 year old to do BBB! Not going to happen, but I am going to do the Tinkerbell magic picture with her. Tink was her favorite when she was little! What do I need to tell the photographer?

Thank you! Definately get a shot of Ab with Tink, my DN does later in our trip! Ask the PP photographer if they do any magic shots (like the Tink one, or Simba in AK and the Stitch one) if that particular photographer doesn't do them they can tell you which ones do.

Looks like a fabulous time! Your little princess is adorable (even more than usual). So glad you both had a great time. What a fun memory for her to have with you.

Thanks, it's so funny you should say that about the kids looking alike. I never realized it either When the FGIT pulled Em's bangs up I was like holy cow it's Sam in a dress And everyone who has seen the BBB pictures has said the same thing!

I left off with Emily's BBB makeover and her photoshoot with Fairy Godmother. Here's a couple extra shots I forgot to include.

Emily with her bag of goodies. They give the girls the make up palette that they use on them along with the extra rhinestone facial stickers, some princess silly bands, a couple of stickers and the comb they use on them (if you didn't bring your own, which of course I forgot!)

So since the boys and DN and MIL were running late Emily and I decided to run over to the Tangled M&G and see what the line looked like. We got there and it didn't look too bad so we went in line. A CM came by counting people and the person behind us asked if they would be in the first group and she said yes they just made it which meant of course that we did too
I can't tell you how happy I was to hear that, before we left for our trip I read horror stories about how long that line can get and I had thought that there was no way we were going to be able to do it.

Before long we were let in and the parents remained in line while the girls went to the table in the middle and did a coloring page.

They had the girls go back to their parents and Rapunzel was announced (no Flynn ) She came out and starting meeting with the girls, no dancing or anything like I know they did when they first started doing M&Gs, not sure if they stopped that all together or not Before we saw Rapunzel the girls posed with a very large stuffed Pascal

Our turn came for us to meet Rapunzel, she was very pretty and very sweet. My Emily, who doesn't miss a beat, asked her why she was wearing shoes and how did her hair growback so fast Apparently the stone floor hurts her feet so she had to start wearing shoes and her hair still has a bit of magic so that's how it grew back so fast!

The whole thing was pretty cute, it's always good to see new characters but I really can't imagine waiting 2 hours to do this M&G , glad we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes!

I finally get a text from DH saying they were in the parking lot, I told him to grab some FPs for the princesses when they get in the park and meet me in front of the castle. While we waited we took a few pictures with the castle.

The family arrives and everyone oohs and aahs over Princess Emily and of course, she's eating it all up! We head through the castle into Fantasyland where the kids wanted to ride the Carousel first, no line so we get right on. I looked for Cindy's horse but it was taken, so I told Emily we'll try again next time!

We get off of the ride and I spot a perfect photo op, Drizella, Anastasia and Lady Tremaine! The rest didn't feel like waiting in line so they went to ride Pooh again while Emily and I went to see her stepsisters and stepmother! Even though we were going to 1900 Park Fare for dinner this night I wanted to get a picture of Emily with all of them which doesn't happen at the restaurant so we were happy to wait, which was about 10 minutes.

I love this picture, it's like their sizing her up!

Anastasia had Emily spin around so they could check out her dress which they declared much prettier than that other Cinderella, lol.

As usual they were wonderful! I absolutely love the sisters and Lady Tremaine, they get so into the characters, I think it would be so much fun to be them!

Up next we meet back up with the family and the worst thing that could happen on a BBB day happens

Oh man you left us at a cliff hanger, I don't know the worst thing on a BBB day.... rain? I don't have a little girl! Anyway the other pictures were great and good for Emily to be so whip smart to point those things out looking at the pictures I always wonder why they have her like that!

Is it bad that I am glad my girls are older now and that the Tangled M&G is not on our agenda? They really aren't that into the characters anymore. Though they were all over the Phineas and Ferb m&g! But...Lady Tremain and the stepsisters -- I think *I* might want to meet them!

Hopefully the craziness of the Ranpunzel M&G's will die down soon. I know Tiana and Naveen were like that when they first arrived and then on our trip we saw them with no line at all!

We have done 2 dinners now at 1900 Park Fare and I think it will be in our future again, I just love the sisters and Lady Tremaine!

Your going to love 1900 Park Fare, food is good but the character interaction is the best Make sure to have fun with Goo and the sisters!

I was bummed that we missed Flynn too! We passed by later in the day and he was there but there was no way we were getting in that line at that point. And now he's gone from the M&G

She was very pretty, not as personable as the other princesses but maybe just because she's not your typical princess!

We really did luck out with alot of our character interactions this trip, LOVE the Tremaine girls!

We did have lots of luck with the characters that morning, it does go a bit downhill from there though unfortunately!
