Princesses don't hit, kick or spit! A May/June TR Update 10/17 Snow White Theme Night

I adore your reveal! :cloud9: Sorry that you missed the rest of the video. I've had that happen before - the camera shuts itself off, or I bump the button.

That's great that you got such wonderful reactions, and I'm glad that Sam was able to push past his OCD and be excited for the trip! I can't wait to hear more!!!!

And of course, loved your theme night as always! (I'll forgive you for being lazy on the cupcakes just this once. :lmao:)

Saying HI! and having been on the boards for all of three-ish years and stopping religiously everyday to read everyone's wonderful trips.... living my life vicariously through theirs...rarely ever posting because I type for Grad School all the time. I need to save these pudgy short fingers for Thesis work... your TR got me out of lurkdom.... for all of three seconds :rotfl:, but I needed to sahre... that was the coolest reveal ever!

I have seen some pretty impressive ones.... treasure hunts, scrabble games, crosswords, videos, but the simple technical effects.... the kids opening the box, the balloon rising from the midst of torn wrapping paper, the sounds of gasping seeing the note attached to the string of the balloon... I now know how I am going to reveal to the parents if and when we ever have a child....

Thank you... for making this night amazing. :lovestruc

Please take this note as a visual understanding that I am subbing to your story and following your lovely family's memories and hoping my time passes fast and quickly.... as I too am going back to my Happy Place.

As I patiently await your return and my favorite parts of every TR... the Journey and arrival and first day plans... I am hoping to your PTR and lurk on your planning adventure.

PS Post Next Part soon!!:wizard:

YAY  So glad that the surprise went well and they were so excited!!! And another great theme night :thumbsup2 I love the Mickey pizza!

I am so glad that your reveal went so well - and that there were no tears or accusations of lying!!:rolleyes1

I am loving that Mickey pizza - I might need to figure out how to do that here at home.

I love the theme night and the cupcakes look yummy! :thumbsup2

Yay on the reveal going as planned - sounds like it was awesome! :cool1:

What a fabulous way to start out your trip (with a fabulous reaction!!) :goodvibes So happy to hear you pulled off the surprise!

I am so glad the reveal paid off. I am sure the expression was priceless. Isn't it great that planning is a great part of Disney. I can't wait to hear more. We leave Friday night so I am trying to get prepared. Now that school is finally over (last professional day was today), I can finally start packing.

Wahoo! The reveal went off without a hitch (okay except for the video camera). :cheer2: I am glad you were prepared for Sam...made the evening even better and relaxful so that he could enjoy the moment! I can only hope that mine will go off just was well in 6 1/2 months!

Can't wait to read more and live your trip's memories with you!

Joining in! I loved your reveal. I have a question for you. How did you get the cheese cut into Mickey shapes? Do you have a cutter that small or did you freehand them?

Ok Ive jumped on the ship....this is so exciting I cant wait to read more!!! We are going in December the 28th through January 11th 2012 and so for the next couple months while I wait for December to get here I will be reading trip reports and doing everything disney:goodvibes
We live near Disneyland in California and go very often as we always try to have our AP's however I became addicted to WDW in Florida when we took our very first trip there in 2006 thanks to McDonalds!!! We won it all expense paid at Disney's Boardwalk Villas....it was amazing....now all I do is dream about the day I move to Florida just to be near Disney World :goodvibes
We also Surprised our girls one time for a 2 week trip at Disneyland staying at Disneys Grand Californian Hotel and it was fantastic to get that reaction and reading your trip report on how you surprised your children took me back to the day that our girls thought we were going to be going to do some things in town including droping off a huge load at Goodwill (that is how we explain the sheet covering all the luggage we had packed into the back of our SUV) our girls thought ther donation boxes under the sheets and when we got there I gave them each an envelope that they opened to find and printed out Disney Itenerary along with a disney gift card loaded with cash for them to spend...I will never forget their reaction......priceless!

:welcome: and thanks for joining along! That's awesome that you live so close to Disneyland, I have several friends who have AP's there and they always make me jealous when they post pics on FB. Isn't it great surprising the kids? I'm not sure if I'm going to do it or not for our next trip, Sam said he liked being surprised but he also likes to countdown, maybe I'll tell them at a month out, that way tehy don't have months to bug me, lol.

Thanks for letting me slack on the cupcakes, I already have something in mind for our next theme night so I'll make up for it :rotfl:

You have your surprise so well planned out already how could it go wrong? The problem at least for me was keeping the secret, lol.

Joining in! I loved your reveal. I have a question for you. How did you get the cheese cut into Mickey shapes? Do you have a cutter that small or did you freehand them?

I got the cheese from Walmart, I don't think I could ever has the patience to do that, lol. I have a few Mickey cookie cutters but none that small.

can I join? your title caught my attention as I said it countless times to my triplets last month LOL We too kept everything secret from them. They knew we were going on a field trip to seea tree far away. 27 hours later we got to Disney and they still didn't clue in until they saw all the signs with Mickey. It was priceless.

:welcome: and of course you can join :rotfl:

First off congrats on taking 3 girls to WDW! Dealing with 1 princess was tough for me, mine truely took on the princess/diva attitude once we got there (and hasn't lost it yet either, lol) I can't believe you made it all the way there without them figuring it out. Once my kids started seeing the South of the Border signs we would be done, lol.

:rotfl2:Let me WARN you the diva thing probably will never be lost! My dd while not girlie girl in the least has the diva thing at 14 perfected to an art form! Your girl drama is just beginning!:rotfl2:

That is probably my issue...planned to well so I may be disappointed. I think Boo is on to me! Thinking of changing my reveal plans to an advent calendar because we may have to leave Christmas midmorning the way flights are looking. So here I go again, planning the perfect surprise:rotfl:
