Hello all.
I am wondering which princesses we are most likely to encounter on the Wonder to Alaska in August. Is there even a way to know?

The follow up to that is, is there a story book that you have found to work particularly well for collecting princess autographs?

Thanks for your help.

To get an idea of princesses, I'd suggest looking at previous Nabigators.

Typically the gathering will be the same princesses as those that have individual meetings throughout the week.

As for a book, I've see several people recommend getting a character encyclopedia to collect autographs over the course of multiple sailings.

I was on the Disney Wonder Alaskan Cruise this past June 2016. There is a ticketed Meet and Greet with the Princesses: Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, and Tiana. Then there is a ticketed Meet and Greet with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. Also check your Personal Navigator for daily appearances of the princesses (non-ticketed events) throughout the day in various locations. I think they also appear in the children's areas.

Thanks. I didn't realize the navigators had that info too!

Character encyclopedia is smart.

If you want an autograph book purely for autographs, you can buy them online or in person at the Disney Store, possibly cheaper than a character encyclopedia. We did that before Disneyland last year, just b/c we really didn't need more giant books but I'm not a particularly crafty person who likes to make my own versions of those things. I put them in the kids' Easter baskets. The Disney autograph books have slots for photos too, or at least the version I bought did.

What I think I might do next time for my kids, as well as my nieces (who will be cruising for the first time), is print this out: https://wdpromedia.disney.go.com/me...youth-club/ChildrensPreArrivalBook_lowres.pdf.
Another disboards person posted that after our cruise, so I haven't gotten to use it yet. But the last page is an autograph page and I figure I can print a bunch of those to add to the booklet. Even if I pay to have it printed on a better printer than I have at home - I'm sure it'll still be cheaper than any book I buy!

Oh - and we had the same characters as the PP had in June, over this past New Year's Eve on the Wonder, so I'm guessing that they are pretty standard for that ship? although it'll depend somewhat on the cast members' vacation schedules. Tiana must be the one you will always get on there though, now that they have Tiana's Place; she appears there at dinner.

There will/should be a cast change between now and then, so nothing will be for sure right now.
However, now because of Tiana's, she should be there and there is usually Belle and Cinderella (although I have seen casts with only one), then there could be anyone, I've seen in the past: Rapunzel, Ariel, Aurora, Mulan...
The casts usually/used to change around Panama time, so to get the best idea, check navigators after that time.

Thanks. We are book people, so I think a story book would be a more meaningful keepsake when she's older.
Those printables are really cool though! Thanks for the link.

Good idea. Thanks for letting me know when to look!

I dug out my Personal Navigator from June 2016 Disney Wonder Alaskan Cruise.
Day 1 - No Princesses listed
Day 2 - Princess Sofia and the ticketed Princess Gathering (Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Tiana) and Frozen Meet and Greet (Elsa, Anna, Olaf)
Day 3 - Tinkerbell
Day 4 - Cinderella and Tiana
Day 5 - No Princesses listed
Day 6 - Tinkerbell
Day 7 - Princess Sofia and the ticketed Princess Gathering (Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Tiana) and Frozen Meet and Greet (Elsa, Anna, Olaf)
I hope this helps the OP.

For our August 2016 cruise, listed times:
day 1: Sofia
Day 3: Tinkerbell, Ariel, Belle
day 4: Sofia, Cinderella, tiana
day 6: tinkerbell

I don't remember when the Princess Gathering and Frozen meets were as we got the tix online, it was definitely on both sea days, but not sure when else. We did also see Ariel on day 1 around 1PM outside of the sit down embarkation restaurant, and on day 3 on the deck 4 atrium area--just walking around, happy to pose for pics. The princesses were also at the 'Til We Meet Again' party on night 7.
