I know the fiasco witht he Mickey TV at Sears. My friend tried to get one too.

I was at Target yesterday and they had the princess TV's on clearance for $49. Not the Mickey, just the princess. Maybe your target will have one too.

Is this the 13" or the 19"? Thanks in advance! No, I'm not trying to start anything - I just don't need another 13 inch tv - not to mention, I can't see it all that well across the room! :teeth:!

My Target had the 13" for that price. They also had the DVD player for $34.99.

On my way out now to see, I was in Target on Sunday and saw only one of those TV's I hope it is $49 I will take the floor model.

Dang it! None of my targets around me have them for that price. We never get good clearence sales down here. Oh well maybe one day.

Mine was marked $99 but when I took it to the scanner it rang it up at $49 and the dvd player at $34 so you might want to go check it out.

I got the floor model Mickey TV for $17.48, floor model DVD player was $12.48

Boxed DVD was $17.48. Good Luck!

I want a Mickey VCR, can't find them!

which Target did you go to for those prices. I was thinking of trying Nashua and Salem. Did you see a few items there or were yours the last ones?
Thanks....this would be great for DD's 6th birthday on Nov. 1st (she still doesn't know that we have a trip planned for Nov. 3rd) We are telling her on her birthday and the tv/dvd player would be a great present to open and shock her with news!!

Anyone know WHY Target does this? I mean, I got the Mickey TV on final clearance, but missed the DVD player. Going into my local Target this week, the Mickey TVs and DVD players are back. Why is this done? It's not like the TV is going out of style. I can see this line of thinking for food or clothing, but electronics that don't change from month to month?

I just got the TV and DVD at the Target in Germantown, MD....

He said they may have one more....The employee thought that maybe it was a mistake at headquarters because they usually don't markdown 50% right away like that.... but the $49.99 and $34.99 prices are correct for now...

:cool1:

My daughter will love it. Thanks so much OP....

I went to one Target and they only had a floor model TV and one boxed dvd. I scanned the dvd and it was regular price @ 69. Then the Target employee came by with his gun and scann the sign by the floor model and it said $99 for the TV. I called my husband at work, he went out to check his Target and low and behold, it was marked and selling for $49 TV and $34 dvd. I just don't understand that.....

pryxtc- you are just getting all the deals- first the disney ice tickets then the tv and dvd. I may need to shop with you, are you in the atlanta area?

Oh yeah, anyone seen the princess vcr, that would complete my set?

aikman- I believe they clearance things so because they have such limited shelf space and no real warehouse storage. Or maybe they test run things for a period of time, who knows......

I called 3 Targets. 2 were sold out, 1 the TV and DVDwere regular price and the 3rd one was a charm! I got my TV for $49 and DVD for $34.

The Mickey TVs were $99, but the DVDs were $34.

My regular Target had them regular price when I called....But the Target "greatland" store nearby had the clearance prices..... (Greatland designation is like Super but no grocery side.)

I got mine today tv and dvd boxed for the clearence price. They had one more the display model of tv and dvd for the clearence price and one mickey tv dvd display for the sale price. Bridgewater NJ store...Good Luck!!! PS Also found the last Amazing Amanda doll-it was a good day! Was thinking of selling the doll on Ebay though.

Mine were marked full price but selling for $49 and $34 - got two sets!

Thanks for the post!!

Ok stupid question, about how long does Target keep their clearence items out before taking them off the floor. Our Wal Mart usually only keeps clearence stuff out for about 2 weeks, what ever is left they take to the back.

I just got approved for their Red card {didn't want the VISA, safer that way ;) } and of course have to wait on it. Plus will be getting a coupon for 10% off, thought that would be nice to put toward something like this. Bad thing is having to wait for the card. This way I can also get points for DD's school by using the card.

I really don't have to wait if I don't want to, but getting 10% off plus the clearence prices would be really sweet.

Thanks to this thread I got mine today :cool1: The employee was shocked to see it that low, The storesigns still say $99 but it rings up $49.

I got mine in Concord, the other stores should be getting rid of theirs too.

I called 4 Targets: 2 still had only princess ones left for reg price. The other 2 stores had only princess TV's and DVD players left at the half price that I was looking for, and I had them hold them for me till tomorrow. I really wanted the Mickey Mouse ones. (Always want what you can't have) :confused3 I'm happy I got those though-great Christmas and Birthday gifts! If I can hide them long enough! I'm excited that the DVD/CD player is MP3 compatible! Bonus for me! princess:
