Princess Travel books at walmart

I was looking for those travel books that has the marker that writes only on the book for our plane trip. I noticed they have a packet of 2 Disney princess books with the pen at walmart for $2.97. I ended up getting my son a finding Nemo one (that only had 1 book and 1 pen) for the same price at the princess ones.

Sounds like a great idea, but do think of other things to keep your child entertained on the trip. I bought a similar book for my daughter and she went through the whole book in 10-15 minutes! It might be better if you seperate the pages and give them to her one at a time, to sllow them down.

If you give them to her as separate pages, don't let her see they had been in a book. When my youngest DD was little, they gave the kids separate pages out of coloring books. They got to look at it and tear out the one they wanted. After that, we never had any coloring books that did NOT have all the pages torn out. She would only color on them if they were out of the book.
