Hi, I did this last Thanksgiving with my then 5 yr old and my 8 yr old. My 8 yr old and I LOVED it. She thought she was going to be the oldest one and was not even looking forward to it, but she REALLY enjoyed it and she was not the oldest, either. There were some girls that looked 11 or 12. My 5 yr old got squirrely. She was excited to go and happy to be there, but she was ready to leave 1/2 way thru. I believe it is about an hour and a half long. The only princess that comes is Aurora and she does not arrive until near the end of the party. She goes from table to table and spends a few minutes chatting and signing autographs. Not knowing your littlest one's personality, it is hard to say if she may not be thrilled to be sitting there for an hour and a half. Personally I think it may be pushing it. When my oldest was 3 or 4, she would have done it fine, but my younger one is just more rambunctious and energetic. Most of the party is spent sitting at the table and listening to music and stories. (My 5 yr old would have been happy to have had her Polly Pockets to play with at the table)
As for dressing, my girls both wore princess costumes. My 8 yr old was on the fence about it, but she still secretly wanted to!! There were many girls just in dressier clothes. It was a mix of princess dresses and nice street clothes. I just wore linen capris and a summer sweater.
The gifts the girls are given are a doll (my 8 yr old gave hers away) a bracelet, some scrap book pages(5 yr old cut them up!), a pretty crown, and maybe something else????
Over all, I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was very entertaining. Just seems like a long time to have a really little girl sit!
