I know she will love this and wants my mom to take her when we go in OCtober for her 4th birthday -

My mom is reluctant to pay the money until she is older - I hear it is worth every penny -

should I wait until she is 6 to go? and if my mom goes will I be sad that I don't go - is it really worth another $65 for me to go?

Ok in my opinion she should go now - especially IF YOU THINK she should - my niece went as the child with my daughter (17 but went as the adult) last year on my mom's bday. My mom died several years ago. I know my mom would have loved to have taken my niece and daughter but it wasn't to be. At any rate my niece who was 4 at the time is a huge Aurora fan and that is why I leaned toward her going (even at the expense!). This is also a not so easy child. Well she was mesmorized by the event, was wonderfully behaved and even in the pictures you can see how enchanted she was.

I would have gone and paid the extra to go but my nephew was doing the pirates adventure at the same time and it gets out a little earlier than the tea and well I can't be two places at once so I only got to see the pictures. I did watch some from the second floor of the GF but still I wasn't there.

So if you think your daughter would like it I would urge you to do it.

My DD went when she was 4. It was great! I'd do it now. You never know if the tea will still be around in 2 years. 4 was a great age. DD was really into it and had a great time. I think kids get more jaded and WDW is less magical the older they get. I'd go for it.

My 2 girls went last year when they were 6 and 3. Actually, my 6 year old was one of the older ones there as the majority of the kids were around 4-5 on that particular day. Both girls loved it and I wouldn't hesitate at all to send your 4 year old. Hope you have a great time!

How was your 3yo at the tea?

I am going back and forth about taking my DD who will be about 2 weeks shy of 3. She is a big princess fan and since we are doing the free dining I thought that I might splurge. I heard that 5 is a great age, but I don't know if we will be back in 2 years.

Do you think that there is enough to keep a 3yo princess interested in the tea?

Thanks

Things are moving along so effortlessly that you don't realize how long you have been there! My DD had just turned 5 and loved every single second of the tea party. There is no "down time" and there is always something going on for the girls to watch and participate in. It's truly a once in a lifetime experience. If you don't go now, you may not get another chance!

I totally agree - it is an experience from the moment you check in until after you leave (since you have to go upstairs for your best friends certificate and scrapbook kit). I couldn't believe all they did - it is a very busy activity and really keeps kids engaged.

My DD was 4 years, 2 mos when she went earlier this year in March. She had a GREAT time. It helped that Princess Aurora was her favorite princess.

I agree with the other OPs that you should go now because you never know if they will still be doing it when DD is 6. Also, what is the likelihood of DD not getting the chance to go to WDW when she is 6?

I do not think it is worth the extra $65 per additional adult. My DW tells me that you basically get the same food as you would get for the $25 tea that they normally serve there. The additional amount presumably covers the entertainment of the host (rose petal?) and accompanist.

I think she'd love it. My mom, my sister, and I took my niece who is 5 yo to it on July 1st. It was the best thing ever. My niece loved every second of it. And none of us adults would have ever missed it either. To watch her face was Rose Petal went around and then to see Princess Auroa was priceless. And then watch mom and daughters dance around was even better. It was the best experience for all of us. I think you'll regret miss it if you don't go.
