Princess Storybook Dinner

We are planning on going to the Princess Storybook dinner during our stay in Feb. 2009. My question is does the price now include the picture package like at CRT? Also, we are planning on using the dining plan-any news if it will become 2 TS?

Yes it will be included by Feb 09.

It will be only one TS credit.

Forgot to add, Cinderella is not guaranteed at this meal. In fact it is uncommon for her to be at this one.

If you are looking for a meall that includes Cinderella besides CRT look into 1900 Park Fare at the GF. She is at dinner along with PRince charming and her stepmother and sisters. They are a hoot!

Oh yea, it's only one credit!

We got Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan, and Mary Poppins. I was like when did Mary become a Princess?

We would have loved to have meet Ariel! My kids had no idea who Mulan was but she turned out to be the nicest one! THe other were very snobby and not chatty at all and rushed through it, Belle was down right rude, but Mulan talked and was personable. Made me want to find the Movie and watch it!

We love our princess meals since I have 3 that want to be princesses when they grow up!

We got Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan, and Mary Poppins. I was like when did Mary become a Princess?

Yes, picture package is included. Cinderella was there when we ate there (May 20th). We saw Cinderella, Ariel, Alice, Jasmine and Belle. They were all very nice, but Cinderella and Jasmine seemed to be in a much bigger rush than the others.

How often does Mulan appear at this meal? Is she there for all three meals during the day?

I have 'Tween' DDs, and DD11 is a big Mulan fan - has been ever since she first saw the movie. She's not a 'pink and frilly girly girl' so really likes that Mulan 'breaks the mold' so to speak. Also doesn't hurt that there's a dragon in the movie either, even if it is a little bitty one (Don't tell Mushu I said that! ) Having Mulan there would just make her day - I'm sure of it!

Not sure how often Mulan apears there, but she was there at breakfast for us.

Just got back and the photos were included; however, I was quite surprised when I got the bill as the price is definately higher than the pricing that's listed on allearsnet. I know that the adult lunch was > 30, but I don't remember the exact price. I wouldn't be surprised if this one becomes a 2 TS at some point in the future given the dramatic price increase.

My son (10) was also with us and he ordered off the kid's menu. I was fully prepared to pay the adult price for him, but was pleased when they charged us a child's price for him. Yes they knew he was 10.

This was our second time here and both times Cinderella was there. In fact, the princesses were exactly the same both times: Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine, Cinerella, and Belle.

Crazy! She made my DD4 cry becasue she would let us take a picture of just her and Belle and would not give her a hug, she said Belle was not nice and she wanted to get a Snow White dress for her birthday not a "ugly Belle" dress. We complained and got the photo for free, it was horrible though. Ha ha!

Don't they look happy? She did not smile except for this picture. They rushed and did not even give my DD3 time to take of her back pack..... AND Belle yelled at me about DD2 sitting on her dress. I told her they had magical things called washers that would clean it right up..... Sorry I know

I know that they rotate the princesses, I have a friends that is a Ariel.

When we made our ADR's we were told that Cinderella was not guaranteed, bummer! But score for those of you that have had her, I am just so unlucky!

I was told by a cm when I made the ADR for August that it would now include the photo package and would still only be 1ts. I will have to let you know if this happens after we go this August. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see this meal go to 2ts with it becoming so popular and the inclusion of the photo.

FYI: The photo you had the option of buying could be added to the photopass CD. I'm not sure how this works since it is included but it can't hurt to ask!

My mom bought the one from Tusker house and then added it to the CD so we could all have a copy and the one that we got complimentary at Akershus was also added.

Regarding the photopass, if you take your photo out of the cardboard"frame" there will be a photopass number on the top right? of the photo just add that number as an extra photopass when you go online and you can get your photos on your dvd.

AAAHH, that's a shame She doesn't sound like she was a nice Belle. I'm glad you got the photo for free though. Going by your picture, we had a different Belle. My 4 yr old was dressed as Snow White when we went there. She asked Belle where Snow White was, and Belle said "I don't know, I don't keep her schedule" in a rude tone. I thought it was rude to say to a 4 yr old who simply just asked Belle. We enjoyed all the other princesses though and we did have Cinderella.

They give you a receipt that you can take to any of the photo pass places that they have at each park, including Downtown Disney. Give them the receipt with your photopass card and they will put it on for you. They do that for any of the photos that you have taken at the character meals.
