The princess story book breakfast is new since the last time I was Disney just wondering good or bad

We enjoyed it last month.

We had visit us Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, mary Poppins, Mulan & Jasmine.

I do have to say the Snow White we had was the most friendiest person I ever seen. She was just a sweetie, really took the time to talk to my son & make him feel special :)

All the princesses gave my son kisses which he did not wipe off his face. It wasn't until the heat/humidity 'washed' them off that they came off.

It was a pretty good breakfast.

Just did it on 7/9 and had Snow White, Belle, Mulan, MAry Poppins, and Jasmine. Good character interaction and the food was so-so.

We did this on 7/9 with out 2 daughters don't expect much for the food but the interaction was great. The highlight was a bird that got into the room and was flying around crazy then decided to sit on a light above our table the kids thought it was very funny. The one downside was it seemed the people running the place were very confused they had all sorts or problems seating people.

Uh, Oh!

karen1 and bobri, no Sleeping Beauty???? I booked this breakfast specifically for her because I had heard that this is where she is most reliably.

Help!

We had Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan and Mary Poppins. No guarantees, but I think Aurora is usually there. Snow White is often there, we got Mary and were quite happy about that :D ! This was in early June. We enjoyed our visit and the food.

We had this last August when it was in it's trial run. We had Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, and Mary Poppins. They each took time to talk to our DD and sign her book. She had on a Snow White dress, so Snowy spent a lot of time with her. The food was good ( what food isn't that you don't have to cook yourself!!!). The potato casserole was really tasty, and the fresh fruit and pastries were really good. The rest is just scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. You really can't do much with that. When we were there, there was plenty of interaction, and enough servers that we had a lovely relaxing breakfast.

I hope things haven't changed too much! I am taking my DD and a friend and her Mom for a surprise weekend in January, and we plan to go back for this! Keep us posted when you get back!

good luck and have fun!

When I made our PS, they also said Pocahontas and Esmeralda were on the list of "potential princesses". Any sightings of them?

This is first I've read of this breakfast. Can someone elaborate on where it's held, and the PS lead time required?
TIA

Restaurant Akershus in Norway in EPCOT's world showcase. You can make a PS 120 days out (which is nice:))

They require a credit card at the time of making the PS but do not charge you're card (like they do for CRT's). They will only charge it if you don't cancel within 48 hours of your PS and you don't show.

Just booked PSB last week and was required to leave a credit card. She stated that there was a 48hr cancellation policy and that $10 pp would be charged to our card if we forget/don't show up. She said that this was a relatively new policy.

Did this breakfast 2 weeks ago.

Food was very good. It was hot and variety satisfied the different tastes at our table. Really liked the potato casserole!

Princesses were good in that our girls got to see alot of them at one setting-Belle,Jasmine,Mulan,Mary Poppins and Snow White. But I was a little disappointed in the interaction. It was very busy and each one came by once, took a picture with the girls quickly and was off. The only one who talked a little was Mary Poppins who told the girls to be sure and mind their manners. The girls were very happy and I'm glad we did it,but characters at other meals we've been to were not in such a hurry as the princesses in Norway.

awatt,

Did YOU see Sleeping Beauty? I'm starting to wonder if it has been a recent change that she is not there....

Anyone seen her this month??? Or last????

Please let me know, I'd really appreciate it!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

2 weeks ago,Sleeping Beauty was not there. But she could be when you go. They change it periodically and there's no way to predict this.

Posted this before......but since it's relevant to the topic. Maybe this will help someone.

DD and I had 8:30 reservations for the Princess Breakfast in Norway. Since we were staying at Y & BC, we went in through the International Gateway and walked through World Showcase to Norway. Since the front of the park wasn't open, we were the first to arrive. As we checked in, the greeter asked my DD, "Would you like to be our Princess of the Day?" She was taken inside and given Princess hat, jeweled cape and magic wand. Then, back outside, she called all the kids to the door - tapped it three times with the wand and opened the door, leading the kids in to see the Princesses!!! She was given a special seat and a certificate with her name on it which all the princesses signed for her. I can't even begin to tell you how excited she was - it made her entire trip! That's Disney magic at its best !
I hadn't heard about this before and thought others might want to know. If I can ever figure out how to post pictures, I'll put some up here.

Wow

your daughter is so lucky. I can only hope this happens for my daughter. Thank you for posting this information.
