On the last day of our Norwegian Fjords cruise the following invitation was left at our stateroom:
Anyone know if this is new or an old thing I've never heard of? Also wondering if anyone knows how the girls are chosen? There were only 7 there, so no way all the girls on the ship were invited, it was obviously only a handful.
Basically, the girls were escorted via tux dressed male crew member, down the atrium steps (which my daughter now calls the princess steps). As she decends, she is announced as "Princess xxxx". Then, at the bottom in front of Lumieres, Cinderella puts a princess sash on each girl. After that there is a photo op and royal dance with mom or dad.
It was super cute, and my 5yo dd truly believes Cinderella made her a princess! But we have no idea why she was invited! Or anything else!
