Princess Peanut's WISH Trip CWF/GKTW Pre-Trip Report! *We're HOME - Pg.37*

Sorry to hear peanut isnt feeling good saying prayers and hoping the meds work.
Sending good vibes your way

the package still isn't there :scared1: dang I knew I should of put tracking on it!! I've never shipped to Canada before, didn't think it would take so long:scared1:
but then a friend sent Megan something from PA about 8 days ago and hasn't shown up either!
maybe to PO went back to ponies :confused3

hope it shows up tomorrow :worship:

here's some extra :wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:

Ponies? :rotfl: I find when things come from the US its either in record time, or slower then slow. I'm waiting on another package from something I bought, and its been over 2 weeks since it was mailed. Hmm...maybe I should blame USPS rather then Canada Post? ;)

Awwww! So sorry about Peanut--and now you, too? Well, let's hope the meds work this time around! I'm gonna throw some magic dust your way, too. I'm a little closer being in Ottawa, so maybe if I throw it far enough, it'll make its way to you without having to rely on Canada Post. LOL!!

Here goes....:wizard:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust::tinker::tinker::tinker::tink::tink::wizard:

At least we are in the same Province, LOL! Thanks for the good wishes and thoughts. I think whatever I have is mainly in my sinuses. I feel so much pressure, and burning, and overall just ugh. I need to try and get to the Doc but just haven't had a chance with hubby working 9 straight right now, and with Peanut being so sick. There's always something, huh? :rolleyes1

Thank you, I hope they start working too!! :goodvibes I think the Pharmacist said in 24-48 hours she should start coming around. Fingers crossed!!

Peanuts fevers seem to be more constant right now (shes had them on an off since Monday). :sad2: She had one at bedtime last night, one in the middle of the night, one this morning (but I think it was the same one from the middle of the night that didn't break). So she went about 8 hours with a constant fever (from about 4am until noon-ish), 3 doses of meds (4am, 8am & noon - piggy backing Tylenol & Advil) and it still hasn't fully broken. :confused3 Her temp has dropped a bit, but she is going between low grade and a real fever - up and down. What is going on?! Shes down for a nap now, so I hope that helps her some. At least with her Dr's appt tomorrow, her doc can check her out again. Siigh...:rolleyes1

I hope her fever breaks...our poor little Peanut sending more  and :wizard:...hope you're feeling better today!

BTW - the ponies are a running joke for the scrapbooking forum too...we have a couple of ladies that scrap with us from the UK....except their ponies were life jackets :lmao::lmao:

Thanks for coming over to check out out PTR and for your sweet words :goodvibes

UPDATE on the package...I guess I can track it with the customs #...only showing it was mailed on 3/5...signed up for email notifications....come on pony "run, pony, run"

Only time for a Quick note ( I am cooking dinner). PRAYERS AND HUGS!!! I so want Peanut and YOU to feel better! I will be back. :goodvibes

Postage isn't great most of the time. Although I sent something from Ireland to someone in USA once and they got it two days later. I was a little shocked was expecting it to be more like two weeks :rotfl:

I'm excited to see you have a PTR, not that there is much time left before your trip - YAY, but i'm enjoying following along. :)

Get out? Thats crazy. It just doesn't make sense how some things get to their destination so fast, and other times its brutally slow. :rolleyes1

Annnnnnnnnnnnd....

:shamrock::shamrock: HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY. I'm part Irish and I have the red hair (all natural ;)), to prove it. :shamrock::shamrock:

I'm hoping Peanut is feeling a little better, i understand very well about the running fevers, I have had a low-grade fever constantly for about 3-4 days now. I was officially diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis about 2 weeks ago, so one diagnosis down hoping to get another one in June!
So I hope some of my diagnosis luck rubs off on you and she takes a turn for the better SOON!!!

love your little Irish babies....they are so cute!!!

What a great photo with ear to ear smiles. I didn't go out yesterday so that's about the only dose of Irish I got.

How big of a celebration is St Patty's Day in Canada?

Adorable little lass and laddie! ;) Love the shirts.

As for St. Pat's in Canada--BIG! (Especially in the cities--particularly Montréal, Ottawa and Toronto.) Parades, pub crawling, green beer, green potatoes, Irish plates in all the restos, green and shamrocks in all the classrooms and offices. The only thing it isn't is a full government holiday! ;)

That is just too adorable!!

Thank you. Peanut kept telling us what her shirt said all afternoon, I just smothered her with kisses in response. :goodvibes

They are so CUTE!!!! I want to kiss them both and their beautiful little cheeks! How happy they are! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Monkey was loving it all, he was making the funniest faces. Peanut was sick and had just gotten off the couch about 5 minutes before. This photo (and a bunch others) was taken post Advil, when she had a bit of a high. :cloud9:

Oh no, i'm so sorry for your diagnosis. Though if it brings you some relief and some treatment, then I suppose that its a good thing. I don't think any disease/medical issue is a good thing, but finding out what is wrong, is a good thing. I'm rambling, not sure if that made any sense. :rolleyes1 I hope your luck rubs off on us too. I hope in June, they can answer give you some more medical answers. :cloud9:

I'm glad I could bring some Irish in to your day. :yay: I have always had super smiley kids, I certainly can not complain. And yes, see mom2pixies response, St Patty's Day in Canada is GREAT!! Too bad for me, that hubby had to work and Peanut was sick, so I certainly didn't celebrate like a true Irish girl could/should have. ;)

I got the shirts from Carters in the States. Being so close to the US, its great that we can cross border shop and get some different things then in Canada. Yes, not so good for the Canadian economy, but what can you do. :confused3 Love your description of St Patty's Day over here. You'd think the Government would realize that we need more holidays, lol!

Annnd, guess what came in the mail today?

Thank you, I hope so too. We actually had a second trip to the Drs this afternoon, i'll post about it below. I am SO happy she at least maintained her weight, but I know her Dr was hoping for some sort of gain (as we all were).

The pony thing is cracking me up, lol. The ponies were obviously taking a break today, maybe they were stopped at the border? Did they have their passports? I was so excited to see the postal truck pull up, good thing the kids were napping - they weren't all over me wondering what it was. I hope her hospital stay goes as planned too.

She hasn't been able to get a mic-key yet because of all the problems she has had. I am hoping we can get one, but I know there has been talk that its hard to get in a gj-tube in the size she needs. Our Paed said she was going to get in touch with whoever she had to about ordering one, but we'll see what happens when it comes time to change it. :confused3

It was a good appt. We did a lot of talking, as usual. And have a few ideas in place for how things are going to unfold. I guess time will tell if this new treatment plan will have a good impact on her. I'm sure Customs is just holding it up, they do that sometimes. I wouldn't worry. :goodvibes

see our wizards are working she didn't loose any weight yay :cheer2:
Hopefully her hospital stay will go well and there'll be no extra wait for disney :wizard::wizard:

I asked her Paed today about Disney, and she said there should be no issues with her trip, as long as things don't drastically change between now and then. Eeek, exciting!!

***BIG GIVE update in the next post!! :thumbsup2
