Bad thing about breaking trip reports into parts is you get busy inbetween and forget !!! We had such an amazing trip, that I will try my best to get it all in.
Day 3:
We were at Animal Kingdom Gate at 8:20 did not realize that Friday was an early entry day, so it was crowded!!!! We ran to the safari got fast passes and then headed over to the Kali River Rapids. It was before 9am so Asia was still closed , so we waited for the gate to drop. We were among the first 20 people to be in line for the ride but yet were not moving at all???? We stood in line at the gate of the ride for 27 minutes (sweating like crazy the whole time!!!!) for the rafts to be brought up??!! Not sure what that whole mix up was about, but it was not magical!
Although because we stood in line so long we were able to grab another fast pass. So we finally boarded the ride got totally soaked, and was still able to make our original fast pass for the safari. the safari ride was awesome, one of our favorites. After that we head to camp mickey meet some characters, saw the lion king show. Then we went to the Tusker House for lunch with our vouchers. Mmmmm....it was very good and not at all what you would expect from quick and casual. Our vouchers saved us about 5.00, we had tons of food and the chocolate cake was very yummy!!!! After lunch we were off for our 2nd ride on the rapids, didn't get nearly as wet this time thank goodness! Then hunkered down for the parade. This was our first time seeing the parade, we gave it a ten thumbs up! After the parade we headed to tarzan rocks, and its tough to be a bug. It was also our first time for the bug show. Lots of fun. We then made a quick trip to conservation station, and quess who was hanging out all alone and bored??? Pochohantas!!!! She was awesome and spent alot of time with my girls. Very nice perk! After that we headed to dinoland and closed the park there. Loved the prima whirl coaster!!! But the dinosaur show was closed so that was a bummer. We drove to animal kingdom and then stopped at pizza hut for dinner on our way back to the park. Had wonderful service and nice inexpensive dinner. Our server told us that , that Pizza Hut was the busiest in the whole country!! We thought that was a neat piece of trivia. Arrived back at the Pop about 9pm , swam till 11 and were asleep before our heads hit the pillow!
